i’ve been on the fence about seeing this, but i think i’ll check it out. the subject matter kinda bums me out (infidelity, rich la women, etc.) but the cast is just so excellent i don’t think i can pass it up.

Yeah, the cast is v. great. Eugene Cordero has a tiny scene where he's basically dressed like Bobby Bottleservice.

If you like non-fiction essay type books, check out Afternoon Delight's writer/director Jill Soloway's book Tiny Ladies in Shiny Pants. I really enjoyed it.

Yeah! I really liked it. An odd counterpoint, in a way, to Wolf of Wall Street. I don't know how I missed it when it came out, I was probably busy being too cool for school or something.

My dad doesn't have cable but he can pull in the over-the-air channels at his place, and so he watches whatever random movies they air. He had just seen Catch Me If You Can, so I did an iTunes rental and we watched it together.
