adoration — how would your f/o speak about you to someone else?

oh he'd be so shy about it like "so theres this girl,,, 👉👈"

hand holding — how are they with physical affection? who initiates it first?

very affectionate!! we both take initiative with it

hugs — are you and f/o affectionate / open about your relationship in public?

generally kinda open about it, yeah! ofc with fake marriage trope its a little more played up in public than in private lol

smitten — was it easy for the people around you and f/o to figure out you liked each other? did they get involved in you getting together at all?

well the only other one around was the narrator and ofc at first he's a bit of a Protective Dad but he accepts it

I Know You

drabble for first meeting stannah stuff

Stanley had heard the Narrator refer to whatever was going on as a “game” a few times before. But this new place he’d ended up in now, a museum of some kind, seemed to focus on the making of it. It was quite an out of body experience, quite literally, since this new voice had told him he had apparently died, being crushed violently. Eesh.

It was quiet, feeling even quieter than the empty office. It was the sort of somber, contemplative silence that always permeated exhibits of a similar nature.

But then, he heard something. A voice. Not the Narrator, and it didn’t seem to be from the new lady. It sounded real, in this space, not just in his head, echoing through the stark white halls. It was melodic, a siren song, drawing him further in.

“I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream, I know you, that look in your eyes is so familiar a gleam…”

Just who was that singing, Stanley wondered, but he didn’t have to wonder for too long. As he came upon a room housing variations of his office desk, he found the source. Seeing another figure other than himself standing there frightened him at first, so he ducked back in a panic before peeking out to get a better look at the other. 

It was a young woman in a red sweater and black skirt, light brown curls flowing just past her shoulders. She hadn’t noticed him yet, so he kept watching her, listening in on her singing. She paced a bit, lost in her own world.

“But if I know you, I know what you’ll do You’ll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream…”

After a moment, Stanley gathered the courage to walk further in, perhaps say hi. He felt like he hadn’t spoken in forever--what did he sound like again? Probably like a dork compared to her. And that’s when she finally saw him.

“I know yyyOUUU--!!” Panicked by his sudden presence, she stumbled backwards, falling on her derriere and scrambling back further. “Good God, man, don’t sneak up on me like that--!”

Frightened by her reaction to him frightening her, he stepped back a bit as well, but then proceeded forward to assist her up, holding out a hand to her.

She hesitated at first, but then took his hand, now pulled to her feet and nearly face to face with him. Oh God, him. She’d never gotten this close to him. He was a smidge taller than she expected. Didn’t he have facial hair, or was she mistaken? Oh, whatever, this was much too close.

Not even a second longer she completely disappeared from his view, only her voice lingering around. “WELL you should be going now, ahaha, enjoy the rest of the exhibit, toodle pip!!” She then shoved him out the room, and for good measure immediately put up a brick wall to block it off.

Stanley was absolutely baffled by the pretty girl suddenly disappearing, even more so by the sensation of being shoved away. Before he could turn around and say something, the brick suddenly popping up inches from his nose told him she didn’t want to hear it. He then heard one more thing, muffled on the other side.

“And don’t tell my father I’m here!”

Father? Who was her father? Wait… British, disembodied voice… Oh no. Well, he definitely wouldn’t say anything. He then turned around and headed off to find the exit, figuring he’d seen enough.
