I understand there is significant overlap with Otherhuman and only use this personally, but others may use it too.
Chronoplace: when your hearthome is/you have an intense connection to a time period/specific date including fictional/stereotyped/idolised depictions of time periods. Alt: chronotype (this can also be used if you ARE a time period or date).
This can be related to another identity but might be less superfluous a term when isolated or when the feeling of longing for that time is more impactful outside of simply wishing to be somewhere familiar due to being X.

what’s wrong with the phrasing of “i kin X”? what should i say instead?
I'll use one of my oldest kintypes for this.
So if I were to say "I kin Spottedleaf", that would be inaccurate because being kin isn't something you do. It's something you ARE. To say that would give the impression that isn't voluntary and a choice when it's not. It's an identity. It would be more accurate to say "I'm Spottedleafkin" or "one of my past lives is Spottedleaf" if you really wanna be fancy (and are reincarnation spiritualkin).
It's one of those things that on its own doesn't matter all that much, but which has in combination with other factors inadvertently contributed to the rise of people misunderstanding what 'kin means and thinking it's a hobby one does for fun instead of an actual identity, which has since snowballed into a huge mess of misinformation and people who "kin for fun" (KFF/KFFers for short - people who use "kinning" to mean relating to/vibing with/etc. a character/thing and specifically not actually identifying as it) insisting that actually we're the ones who are wrong about what """kinning""" means and are "taking it too seriously". Kin-as-a-verb isn't solely to blame for the KFF phenomenon by any stretch of the imagination (the format of social media is a much bigger part of it), but I do think it contributed and still contributes.
Because of that, using "kin" as a verb is something many consider a red flag for potentially being KFF, and it tells me the person doing it is at minimum a lot less likely to know anything about community history or to be interested in in-depth introspection and discussion (which isn't, like, morally wrong or "not REALLY otherkin" or anything, but it's a cultural divide, y'know?).
Alternative, more grammatically "correct" verbage (including what you already covered) includes:

(Quick sidebar here: I am at this point of the opinion that voluntary nonhumanity/fictionality should be considered part of 'kinity, even though historically there's been a lot of contention about that - largely because it doesn't make a lot of sense to me to divide out this one specific origin of identity when all other origins are considered to be part of 'kinity - but that's another discussion.)
I have been blocked on my previous post about this distinction being made between clinical and non-clinical zoanthropes, but this discussion is important to have so I am going to repost my reply to the comments. Here is the original post and reply To those who identify as "non clinical zoanthropes" seperating your experince from "clinical zoanthropes" on the basis of psychosis, please read this.
Firstly, the concept of the term Zoanthrope being universal because of grammar is incorrect - the history of words is very important in how they are used and why you should not take or use some words. Lycanthropy has historical widespread use. Zoanthrope is however really limited to solely clinical zoanthropes. You can use almost any [noun]-thrope or were-[noun] without issue. Zoanthrope though specifically is used as shorthand by the clinical zoanthrope community as a means of rejecting the psychiatrisation we experience and it is through that means that it has been primarily used. Taking the word for yourself and seperating yourself entirely from that experience only serves to damage and - given the tendency of language to drift and soften - destroy our community and the limited means we have to find each other.
What you are doing is sanist, and amounts to the same behaviour engaged by therian communities to essentially cut us as seperate and it fails to understand our community, history, experiences, and why we word things certain ways. There has always been an understanding within the zoanthrope community that there is no requirement of specific diagnosis - just reasonable suspicion, psychiatrisation, or the understanding that psychiatrisation would be applied. Almost all zoanthropes reject the humans understanding of our experiences as psychosis or madness. The problem comes in trying to define yourself as "non-clinical" zoanthrope in opposition to "clinical" zoanthrope. There is no means to seperate the concept of "clinical" from "non-clinical" within the space which does not have sanist outcomes as it inherently frames one as mad and the other not. This plays out in your writing, and that of others that have replied, framing your experience in opposition to ours - with ours as a psychotic affect. This is not an analysis almost any zoanthrope accepts for themselves, but in placing it on others you inherently devalue our experiences and identity as genuine, while at the same time claiming yours as genuine affect of your existance.
Your background of being physical nonhuman and the treatment from therian community does not preclude you from engaging in sanism or mistreating further marginalised communities or further marginalising segments of that community. Genuinely, if you actually care about our experiences, and view yourselves as meaningfully different from us, please stop appropriating our terms. They are the only way we have to find others and to be able to express our experiences without bowing to the psychiatrisation and reality checking demanded by the human world and therian communities. Not every term is for you and you are not entitled to every word. Or, if you do view yourself as like us, you must stop creating this dichotomy which sets one experience of greater validity against anothers madness as this only serves to marginalise those already most marginalised within the community. You may not intend or consider this outcome, but intent is irrelevant, this is the outcome.

I am not trying to start anything, and there is no rude or hateful intent behind this post. I just want others to be aware of this blog so they don't have to deal with them.

Inky Paws is a nonhuman anthology zine for original fiction writings by nonhumans and alterhumans about nonhumanity, alterhumanity, and similar, related themes.
This zine is primarily literature focused, but will also be open to more illustrative methods of story-telling such as comics. The zine’s focus is on fictional pieces that are centered around nonhumanity, alterhumanity, therianthropy, and similar (see Submission Guidelines section for more details).

Each individual may contribute up to 3 accepted submissions to be published in Inky Paws; individuals within systems may each submit 3 pieces, that is to say 3 pieces per systemmate/headmate/preferred term.
Comics and similar multi-part pieces count as one submission altogether: if you submit a single story that has been divided into two sub-stories for dramatic emphasis, or if you submit 10 pages of a single-story comic, or if you submit a written piece of fiction and an accompanying image that you drew or otherwise created to go along with it, that would still only count as one piece.
Submissions must fit the thematic criteria of:
Being explicitly about or based on nonhumans, otherkin, therianthropes, fictionkin, alterhumans, or similar groups, or;
Having strong themes or describing experiences strongly reminiscent of or related to nonhumans, otherkin, therianthropes, fictionkin, alterhumans, or similar such as (but not limited to):
Characters experiencing nonhumanity or alterhumanity as being a part of themselves/their identity,
Characters experiencing anything similar to a shift (including physical shifting),
Characters struggling with (emotionally, socially, or otherwise) being both human and nonhuman or alterhuman in some way,
Characters having a past-life as something nonhuman or alterhuman that strongly still impacts their current life, or

TL;DR - Your submissions have to relate to or be about alterhumans or nonhumans in some way, shape, or form.
Written submissions must not exceed 7500 words, and must also use a reader-friendly font with a text size of or exceeding 16 pt.
For stories that use multiple different fonts, such as pieces meant to imitate newspapers and similar, every effort will be made to preserve the general "feel" of your piece but fonts may not be transferred over 1:1 due to potential conflicts with font copyright, readability, and overarching zine style.
Multi-part image submissions must not exceed 10 pages in length, and must also use a reader-friendly font with a text size of or exceeding 16 pt if they include text. Images larger than 8.5 x 11in. will be scaled down to an appropriate size; please take that into account when creating and submitting your images. It is also recommended that images be vertical or square in their orientation.

A: The zine will be hosted for free download on Itch.io, where issues 1, 2, and 3 of the zine are already hosted.
Q: What is the cap on submissions?
A: At this time, we are not looking to accept more than roughly 25 submissions at most, in order to keep numbers and expectations manageable.
Q: Can I update my application after submitting?
A: Yes, so long as the updates are submitted before the submission deadline!
Q: What is your policy on content moderation and content warnings?
A: If you feel your piece needs content warnings, please include them in the submission, as we are hoping to include relevant content warnings and maturity ratings alongside all pieces. We are at this time accepting pieces of all tones and ratings.

I don’t know if “species confusion” is the best way to go about it. It gives people the impression that there’s something wrong with you, and doesn’t really paint a positive picture. Honestly I think maybe just describe being otherkin without saying otherkin, or something adjacent. Hell just look them in the eye and say you’re the species you are, people feel less inclined to talk shit when their faced with a confident person.

I know this has been said before but a lot of you are pissing me off so I'm going to say it again.
Being alterhuman does not mean you have some ~special ability~ to interact with wild animals.
DO NOT go touching/chasing/ generally messing with wildlife. You aren't special and you could harm those animals, or be harmed by them. Even small things like bugs can kill you. You aren't immune to rabies.
If you scare wild animals by chasing them for species euphoria or whatever, you can genuinly kill them. Birders have a term for when it happens to birds, its called a Dread Flight. When you unnecessarily scare a wild animal, you are causing it to waste energy it needs to survive. Wildlife can't afford to waste energy. You're enjoyment is NEVER worth disturbing wildlife.
You do not have the training to rescue wild animals just because you're alterhuman. If you don't have the actual training to resue wildlife and you genuinely find an animal in need of help, CALL A FUCKING WILDLIFE REHABILITATION CENTER!!!! It isn't that hard to find the number for your local center and they'll tell you what to do, if anything, and help you if necessary.
I'm so sick of seeing alterhumans online think they can interact with wildife willy nilly just because they're alterhuman. Please fucking stop.
I’m going to use a personal example that’s not in context to wildlife but still in context to how folks treat theriform animals. It’s also specific to animals in the alterhuman community because I mainly see this with other animals, not so much nonhumans in general. Nonetheless, I hope it’ll put something into perspective.
I am a horse. I’ve ridden other horses before, albeit as a guest at a ranch within my area. For the times I’ve visited my kind and interacted with them, I’ve done so under clear instruction from those who regularly take care of them, train them and work with them.
At no point have I ever gone out of my way to interact with my kind under the assumption that I’m engaging with them from one species member to another. Nor have I engaged with them under the assumption that— because I too am a horse— I know what I’m doing. This is because I understand mindfulness is of utmost importance. Riding is a privilege, not a right. So is engaging with your local wildlife. Your behavior makes all the difference, and those consequences are often irreversible. Besides, OP already listed some pretty good reasons on why this matters.
I know folks like to get up close and personal with animals. Usually, it’s to pet them, take pictures or act out to get a reaction out of them if they feel emboldened enough. In my case, they won’t hesitate to do so without the animals, the trail boss or any other staff who work with these animals in mind, knowing damn well they don’t know these animals or their behaviors. Sometimes, these folks turn out okay but get a scolding. Sometimes, they go into full Karen Mode because the staff did their job by addressing their guests’ behavior. I’ve seen group members get kicked out because they had the bright idea of trying to sneak inside in the stables nearby. These are individual cases from the ranch near me and the trail rides I’ve been on.
Back when I went on trail rides, I didn’t make any sudden or overly touchy movements while being paired up with a horse. I’d also watch my volume once I was in proximity with my riding companion. Yes, I’m an animal like them but I’m still responsible for my own behavior. Inappropriate behavior could bring immense distress or harm the horse and even myself. The chances of an accident happening is never a guaranteed zero. Moreover, other horses aren’t going to assume I’m socializing with them as another horse. They’re going to assume I’m posing some kind of a threat to them or refusing to back off and act accordingly, which is something that many folks— in AND outside of this community— need to keep in mind. Entitlement to an animal’s space or existence is an issue that a lot of folks have, even if that’s not your intention! To you, it may not come off as entitlement because you’re doing something that brings you some kind of euphoria. Even so, it doesn’t change the fact that you’re using another animal’s existence as an excuse to gratify yourself. That’s not okay.
I understand wanting to express your animality. I understand wanting to be recognized among your kind or among other animals in general. I get it, but you cannot jeopardize the wellbeing of your local wildlife and any other animals for your validation.
Overfamiliarity doesn’t just happen between humans. It can happen between you and a theriform animal simply because you too are an animal and feel like that’s enough of a reason to act the way you do around them. Reconsider the next time you see that squirrel on the sidewalk or bird on a tree branch. Your actions don’t exist in a vacuum.
Small addition: No matter how much you think it's true, theriform members of your species aren't psychic and don't have the ability to see you as one of their kind even though you are. They can't 'sense' that you're different, they don't 'see you as you really are'. It's a nice fantasy but not rooted in truth and believing so can harm them as talked about above.
This is true even if you believe you have mastered the body language and signals of your species. It sucks, I know it sucks, but you must care about them more than your own feelings and you must endeavour to not interpret their behaviour through an anthropomorphic lens. Your sentience is a gift that allows you to be kinder and more considerate to theriform animals and teach others to do the same, use it.
At least the second transID person I've seen reblogging stuff about theriform to their hoard accounts...it literally says in the info to not use it as an identity and to use theriformic if you must (with full 'permission' to make your own flag and everything). Instead of 'I can do what I want' I wish everyone would practice respect

What's with starseed community? I've heard that it is problematic and I also saw that some state it is a Nazi thing.
Do you have any info (and resources) on what is going on with this community and why is this problematic?
Boy, I admit I don't have much in the way of resources onhand for that specifically; it's a bit out of my scope. I probably can't tell you anything Google can't. It sums up to, starseeds are a New Age concept proposing that certain people are extraterrestrial souls sent to Earth to guide humanity to some kind of ascension. It purports that certain people are born inherently "higher" while others are more "primitive" spiritually speaking, which is already a pretty yikes concept even before you get into the history of this movement and ones like it being deeply steeped in racism and eugenics. Suspiciously, whenever you see physical descriptions of these "higher races," the ones who aren't just bog-standard "greys" always seem to be pale-skinned and often blonde, at least from what I've seen (Pleiadians, one of the most well-known and "highest" races, are literally described as "Nordic aliens" or "indistinguishable from Nordic people").
It's also heavily linked to the idea of aliens "seeding" earth in the past, which is itself a concept steeped in racism and the ideas that a) different peoples are literally different species (some of which are of course "higher" than others) and b) historical people of color of course couldn't actually accomplish anything impressive or significant, it must have been aliens. It's also linked to the idea that Someday Soon™ there will be a great purge, I mean ascension, where the enlightened and spiritual starseeds will rise to a New Earth and everyone else will be left behind (which doesn't sound like the Rapture or like every dream of the Grand Revolution which conveniently doesn't care how many people it leaves behind or kills in the process of creating its new dream).
So. yeah. There's more to it, but that's about all I know off the top of my head and with minimal research (all of which comes up in the first few links of google results for various starseed-related searches). I don't really have any spectacular resources that have all this information in one place, but it's not hard to turn up with a little searching.
Tl;dr, the big difference between starseeds and otherkin and the reason one is kind of problematic and the other isn't is that otherkin aren't generally claiming to be "Nordic aliens" sent to "guide humanity to ascension".
Both the Stareseed and Indigo/Crystal/Rainbow/whatever Child movements were also ways for a particular type of middle class suburban parent to lable their very clearly autistic child. It was like the Changeling myth, almost, but in a more "benevolent" new age way.

Physical “signs” of bei g a starseed/indigo child/earth angel are often being blonde, having blue eyes, being pale, being very empathetic, being very passive, facing persistent cruelty, and being able to easily “read rooms/intentions”. You might notice that these might also raise red flags for a kid being abused.

This often leads adults around them who believe this shit to outsource morality and decision making, use kids to vent to, and punish them for failing at these things.
adults who believe theyre one of these archetypes often have a savior/superiority complex around it and see themselves as above those around them.

One thing I think is important for understanding the daemian community – especially if you're coming from an alterhuman perspective – is that daemonism is not a word for a shared experience, nor a shared identity.
Daemonism is a practice. The concept of it can be used by anyone: alterhuman or not, plural or not. It can be pure playfulness. It can be imaginary, and that's okay! That's a beautiful experience in its own respect!
There's no universal daemian experience because we accept and embrace that our minds, and our experiences, are ours alone.
The community isn't built on a shared experience – just a shared idea which we all create unique versions of.
Some people stick closer to the basic idea we started with. Some just take what they like from it and throw out the rest. Some only take vague inspiration from it. Some people adapt it more than others, sometimes due to being neurodivergent, plural, and/or alterhuman.
It's still daemonism because daemonism isn't defined by us all "doing the same thing" or "having the same experience".
Daemonism is, for the most part, defined by a person deciding that they want to call what they are doing or experiencing daemonism.
And a large part of that is often in connection to the community, whether directly or in a peripheral way, by taking inspiration from the practice, making use of the community's writings, and so on.
This is why I think daemonism is often misunderstood in an alterhuman context. Daemonism is not an experience, it's not an identity – it's just an idea we each take and make our own. And that's what it should be. That's the beauty of it!
Anyone could be a daemian if they want to. There's no requirements. A lot of people get started with daemonism purely because it sounds fun! A lot of people start with only their imagination, and many people remain so.
For others, it might become something else in time, or they might discover there was something underlying their imaginings all along. It's no more or less a practice of daemonism, either way.
A lot of alterhuman concepts don't apply to daemonism because of this. Fact is, there's plenty of daemians who are orthohumans too, and plenty of people who specifically see their daemonism as an orthohuman practice.
I see it get included under the alterhuman umbrella a lot, and I feel like it gives the wrong first impression to come at it from that angle by default.
Really, it's more comparable with being a furry. For some people, it is a deep, impactful, life-altering experience, and the people who feel that way are a vital part of the community. But equally, for some it is an exercise in whimsy, playfulness, or creativity – and those people are no less members of the community for it.
We're not united by being plural, or having thoughtforms, or being alterhuman. We're united by being a bunch of people who were inspired by some books (or a film or TV show) to play around with the idea of daemons, and ended up sticking with it for one reason or another.
While the individual experience can be very deep indeed, that isn't what makes daemonism what it is.
I enjoyed the sneak peek at the new anniversary cards and I'm happy I'll be featuring again but...I do not like that art it's kinda...ick and why is it so many of my cards have fairly weak or highly strategic abilities/attacks which are not nearly as useful as other EX's including Mewtwo's? Maybe I'm just bad at the game and a little bitter lol but I feel people forget how powerful I can be.
