Star Bite: Adelaide
Adelaide is a ghost duck who swims on ice and skates on water! She technically possesses the necklace she wears, and she’s trying to be less of a “haunting” sort of ghost—but she still has a bit of scheming in her when the mood strikes. When in a bad mood, the temperature around her can drop quite low! A lady does try to keep her composure, however.

Star Bite: Flancy
Flancy is a sleepy dragon who is also a rainbow. Grass and flowers grow on her paws and tail, and grow wherever she walks. She prefers to fly, and likes to sleep where it has just rained so her plants will be healthy, so she spends a lot of time following rain clouds and usually the rest of the time snoozing. The flower at the end of her tail is the gold at the end of the rainbow, and its petals can be used in food and tea that she willingly offers.

Star Bite: Norman
She has a balloon for a tongue! She blows it up to fly around and it pops when she’s surprised but it just gets small again, it doesn’t hurt her. She eats balloon animals.

Star Bite: Bobbin
He is a rat made of fabric and thread. He uses a thimble as a helmet, a broken safety pin with thread as a bow, and a needle as an arrow. He has a scar on his head from recklessly drawing the needle once, and he can’t patch the top of his head very well so sometimes stuffing does fall out, but he always wears his thimble since then. He has a tomato pin cushion he cherishes and uses for target practice.

The first of a collection of character designs I am calling Star Bites! They are not associated with a particular work, they just exist for the sake of being fun to look at, and are created based on prompts from Patreon patrons. :)
This is Prounder! They always walk with their legs as maximally stretched out as possible, which gives them a very silly gait. It also means their claws are always out, so they wear claw caps to not hurt others accidentally. However, if you pick them up or when they sleep, they go all floppy.

resolve
Resolve is an art book I have been working on since 2019 about my experiences with CPTSD, complex dissociative disorder, and recovery. It is autobiographical, but more than that an exploration on feelings and experiences through symbolic imagery. It is clocking in at over 140 images in total as of completing my thumbnails for it in 2022.
It is my primary personal project at the moment.
Star Bites
Star Bites is a newer project for me! It is a collection of little creatures designed from prompts largely from my Patreon supporters based on emoji. While there are no concrete plans for Star Bites at this time, I’m hoping to make illustrations and possibly merchandise(?) that include them. I also have some bigger plans that would require me to learn some coding...but that’s a little bit of a secret for now...
Sam Farren books
My partner is a non-binary (they/them) lesbian novelist who writes high fantasy novels. These books explore a range of themes, though particularly how relationships with others help us heal from or simply confront emotional wounds in fantastical worlds commonly featuring gods that walk amongst mortals, dragons, knights, and always a lot of magic. I frequently design and draw their characters, and all of these are found under my tag farren.books
They all heavily feature lesbian and trans characters, as Sam is interested primarily in writing for their personal community--the kinds of books they theirself did not get to read growing up. I have drawn the covers for four of their novels, and plan to work on many more.

I started drawing this guy when I worked a day job on reception, and I usually draw him nowadays while I’m on the phone taking notes about important details since it takes a matter of seconds. Biji is for everyone, so please feel free to draw him if you like.
The reference is Like This because the point of Biji to me is to do things quickly and without any stress. Biji cannot be drawn badly! So I did the sheet for him in about five minutes LOL this is Biji’s wisdom
