The Kickstarter campaign and playable vertical slice demo (including local splitscreen and online multiplayer versus mode, and a preview of Lumi Garden) for Star Garden have released!

Star Garden is a racing game where crash-landed cosmic ecologists raise the alien Lumi (which can transform into vehicles) Chao Garden-style, sporting both a story mode and a competitive online multiplayer reminiscent of Kirby Air Ride.

The most recently announced character is Lynx, voiced by David Humphrey, who is known for playing Shadow the Hedgehog in games like Sonic Adventure 2.

Star Garden will launch on Steam to be playable on both PC and Steam Deck, with the Nintendo Switch/Switch 2 as a likely port target. PlayStation and Xbox are also under consideration.

The Kickstarter (which opened today, September 2nd) has already reached its initial goal, but still has stretch goals to hit!

The Kickstarter campaign will end October 2nd.
