So I just saw a heated discussion somewhere else an hour ago about who was the most powerful being in the ORV verse, whether it was Han Sooyoung or Kim Dokja as the Most Ancient Dream and I'm here to tell y'all that they're both wildly wrong.
For a story about stories, the most powerful being has to be a story, so allow me to introduce unto y'all the being that has been omnipresent throughout the novel:
Behold, [The Star Stream].
"But... momentaryl0ss the Star Stream shut down when they completed the 100th Main Scenario didn't it?"
Yup, you're 100% right. And also 100% wrong.
What shut down was <The Star Stream>, this is the giant story that runs the narratives of verse and gives it its main scenarios and everything else, this is very similar to the other giant stories like <Kaizenix Archipelago>, <Torch That Swallowed The Myth>, etc. except for the fact that <The Star Stream> is technically a supergiant story that's hosting all the other stories within it and has had many names over the near infinite time it's lived.
[The Star Stream] on the other hand...
It isn't a story. It's quite literally the story, it itself is the entirety of the ORV verse and all of TWSA too. In short, it is the multiverse. And it's also 100% alive, sapient and somehow both malicious and not like how cosmic/eldritch beings beyond our understanding often are.
What am I basing this off of?
That's the difficult part 😅, because there's many small hints and the most major one being dropped when the 1863rd HSY travels to the original worldline to become tls123. It gives off a very cosmic dread vibe when HSY is staring at the computer and realizes that she's the one responsible for everything and despite knowing this, she also knows her decision won't change.
That's when she receives this message.
[The 'Star Stream' is smiling at you.]
She hasn't written anything and yet, it's active. ORV is a story in a bootstrap paradox and [The Star Stream] is the paradox itself.
Y'all see what I'm tryna say here? Look at it from a cosmic horror perspective, a girl travels through universes and time to save someone and realizes that to save that certain someone she'll have to doom a near infinite amount of people and subject one person to untold suffering, a 'hell of eternity' but that's not the worst part.
Because the worst part is that she has no choice in this matter at all.
Her will is already fixed and so her action won't change at all, she could of course, just not write it and hence end this whole cycle of suffering but both her and [The Star Stream] know that she loves Kim Dokja too much for that to happen.
It's a very amusing and horrific situation.

Is anyone else reading ao3 in the tag of ORV and you are seeing so many stories of Kim Dokja being a camboy? I don't judge, he was a poor salary man, but I was looking for angst and found the absolute gayest shit!
