Starbs’ Bathroom
I go to the Starbucks across the street from my apartment quite often because I seem to think that I get more work done if I am not in my own home...not sure if that is actually true. I usually arrive around 10 am and only do about 1 1/2 worth of work. The past three times that I have came, I have sat in the same spot. The table that always happens to be available is the one right across the entrance to little alcove of both sex’s restrooms. I see the traffic that go in and out of those two bathrooms. I never thought public restrooms were gross or would be afraid to go, however after today I could see why other people would seem so. Since 10 am I probably seen about 30+ people go into the restroom and who knows what number they left in there. I would definelty say I am a people watcher and well I sat in a very prime spot to do so. I also noticed the variety of people who went to the bathroom: ethnicity, class, age, height and etc. Everyone uses the bathroom...DUH, I just never paid much attention to this before. I don’t know when the employee’s clean it, but lets hope pretty often because ew. Also, I always thought I had a problem with going too often a day, but I have seen one dude go in 10+ times. So I feel a little better about myself. Also, I saw these two little girls going in twice laughing at each other and from the outside I hear the hand dryer go off and two of them screaming. Pretty sure they were checking if the room was soundproof or not which was followed by a lecture by their mom. Last little thought for now: is it true that seat protection covers in the bathroom don’t really protect your butt?
