i really do get where theyre coming from. as a writer i find it difficult to write smth if im not 10000% invested, so not getting your first choice for some ppl can be a creative struggle and might raise the question of whether its worth it to participate in a long-term event like this. it has little to do with the quality of the art or the way things are run.
and i do know that this bang is a first for a lot of you. there are quite a few participants who probably dont know how much work goes into bangs, or that it takes a lot of compromise to work smoothly and efficiently. ive had years of experience running these kinds of events so im privy to all of this. for a frame of reference, ive been working on this since late november and will continue to work through the end of july. thats eight months. im invested as heck lol. i will still do whatever i can to make it good for everyone, but ppl also need to understand that there are currently 197 people involved in this event now, and more to be added as pinch-hitters and betas sign up. not everyones gonna be happy, and im truly sorry.
i somehow got lucky with such a great group though, i dont deserve all of you ;)
