I’ve tried to keep this on the down-low so the entire ST fandom – especially my mutuals who are in it wink wink – don’t come for my head but I haven’t really seen a lot of it and by that I meant I’ve seen all of Tommy’s scenes and that’s it.          “ what  the  hell  did  you  do ,  steve ? ”  she’s  already  fumbling  for  car  keys ,  grabbing  her  jacket  from  under  the  counter ,  the  question  really  more  of  a  formality  than  anything .  was  this  gonna  be  hide  the  body  bad ?  or  was  this  gonna  be  broke  his  arm  doing  something  stupid  kind  of  bad ?  or  even  just  being  stranded  again ?  or  hell  was  she  being  dragged  out  to  make  sure  someone  sober  could  get  his  as  home  after  hours .  and  if  he  was  getting  shit  faced ?  that  meant  someone  was  gonna  end  up  crashing  in  her  basement .  or  her  floor  depending  on  the  level  of  drunk  steve  harrington  could  achieve .

   jacket  in  hand ,  keys  looped  on  fingers ,  robin  finally  lets  her  gaze  linger  on  her  favorite  dumbass .  she  studies  him  for  a  moment ,  eyes  tracing  the  half  of  him  visible  over  the  counter .  he  doesn’t  look  like  he’s  stuck  in  a  life  or  death  situation .  but  it’s  steve  and  she  doesn’t  want  to  assume  anything .  he  could  probably  drown  in  an  empty  bathtub  if  given  too  much  of  a  chance .  a  hand  runs  through  her  hair  and  she  squints ,  trying  to  guess  at  what  the  fuck  he’s  getting  them  into .

   “ it’s  friday .  i’m  pretty  sure  you’re  not  one  of  the  cool  kids  anymore  so  i  don’t  know  who’d  invite  you  to  a  party .  and  it’s  past  your  children’s  bed  times  so  i’m  hoping  we’re  not  staging  a  kidnapping .  you  don’t  have  blood  visible ...  so  i’m  guessing  i  don’t  have  to  hide  a  body  in  the  woods .  so ,  tell  me ,  oh  hairy  one .  what’s  the  deal ?  have  you  stopped  to  breathe  in  the  past  ten  minutes ?  is  your  brain  getting  oxygen  through  that  hairspray ?  because  i  swear  to  god ,  steve ,  if  i  have  to  deal  with  mom  trying  to  trick  me  into  admitting  you’re  my  boyfriend  because  of  one  more  sleepover ,  i’m  gonna  crack . ”

       her mom didn’t even question her going upstairs with a boy to study. she knew she wanted something to happen BADLY. but that’s just what they were doing. STUDYING. 

        folding the book shut, she got up, looking at her reflection in the mirror and adjusting her hair. 

       could she say something without steve telling...?

      “ tina has been so.....DESPERATE lately. “

      holly started, crinkling her nose and giving a little chuckle. “ I’m not after anyone right now and I SWEAR--I even look in any of the guys in our group direction and she suddenly is super possessive of them. “

           grabbing her lipstick to swipe more color on her lips, leaning forward in the vanity. “ HOROMONES. “ she said dramatically, shaking her body a little bit and looking back at steve through the reflection.

“It’s a simple solution, really,” Damian tried to explain, gesturing with his pen from Steve’s paper to his own as he went over their work. Truth be told, Damian never expected to be paired up with this fella on a school project -- not that he thought lowly of Steve, it was nothing like that...it was the opposite in fact. It was just....they were from completely different worlds and well--

“Are you listening to me?” He blinked as he realized Steve’s head wasn’t even turned in his direction and Damian craned his’ too to see what the other was looking at but he couldn’t see any object of interest so he chalked it up to daydreaming. “Steve. Earth to Steve......need I call the nurse or are you with me?” If Damian knew him a little better, he’d have immediately demanded Steve to spill the beans -- demand the juicy gossip of whatever was going through that hair of his. But alas, he knew him just as much a geek would know of a prep on a personal level. Zero.
