Nothing felt better than getting the chance to work alongside one of his Rogues again. Captain Cold and Mirror Master together time help contribute to the chaos spreading throughout the city. Of course, anyone should expect them to take advantage of the situation. Leonard comes to a stop outside of a random antique shop that might not appear as much to begin with, but there is always a plan when it comes to his actions. “You can stop questioning my directions now because I have a feeling you’re going to like what’s stashed inside. Once of a kind from what my research could show me.” He pulls out a piece of paper which had been torn out of a newspaper. Which is the photograph of a special mirror that has surprisingly found it’s way to the city.

“How about you get us inside, McCulloch?” Leonard didn’t really mind traveling through the mirror world of his and knows when it would be better than tripping off an alarm when breaking the window.

For lack of a better word - Eddie was horrified. He didn’t need to question it’s truth, or it’s sources - NOVA was never something to turn to for help. It was a death sentence for some and for others even worse. It made him feel sick. He couldn’t let the news get to him, though; he had to go out there and help while the city tore itself apart. Zach was off with the League, helping in that way, so Eddie needed to do his part. Deciding the chaos was already at an all time high, he forwent his charmed necklace, the one that disguised his demon-like appearance, and appeared in a cloud of smoke and brimstone, the yellow and reds vivid until they faded with the breeze. The smell of something burnt filled the area as he took in the street around him, just below the apartment that he and Zach lived in.

His arrow-tipped tail waved behind him as his ears moved with each sound that arose from the looting. People broke into apartments and storefronts to take advantage of the riots that took place. There was already so much going on, so much pain, so he decided to intervene. A looter stopped mid break-in when he caught sight of Eddie’s appearance - it was nothing new, but at least he didn’t have to fight anyone. They were too busy being taken aback by him. Unfortunately, the NOVA agent that had a child by the arm didn’t flinch when he saw Eddie and aimed his weapon. In a blink, the devil was gone, nothing but a puff of black and red smoke to dissipate in the air. Reappearing, he landed on top of the agent, knocking him unconscious with the force, thus freeing the kid of his tightened grasp. 

Eddie huffed out a breath and turned to the small mutant and flashed them a reassuring smile. “You’re safe now, it’s okay. Where are your parents?” He asked, worried that they might have gotten separated from their family in the middle of all of this. While he’d knelt down to console the child, another agent rounded the corner, weapon already drawn and pointed at Eddie’s back.

You leave for seven years and the entire planet seems to crumble into utter chaos. It wouldn’t be the first time Richard has seen a society become like this. It can be heartbreaking if they can’t come out on the other side of these conflicts but maybe it was sentimental to believe Humanity could manage it. They’ve been through hardship before. He abandoned his SCPD uniform on a street lamp, tied down tight until he has the time to go back for it. There’s no words to explain how angry this organization using the Nova name makes him feel.

< Attention. I detect you‘re feeling stressed, Richard. >

“Thank you for pointing out the obvious. I’m fine.”

< It’s urgent that you concentrate at this time. Routing the next urgent priority to your visor. Someone just broke into the pharmacy nearby.  Computing course. Six minutes distant. >

Richard memorizes the coordinates and is headed that way, leaving a golden glow behind him while soaring through the sky. It takes exactly as much time to descend as Worldmind calculated. He never had a doubt  about what they communicate between each other. He takes a step into the broken glass window. “You can make it easier for both of us if you stop right where you stand.” He says while moving over broken glass and down the aisles toward  where the thief is behind the counter foraging for anything that would be of value. “Put it down.” Bright blue aura surrounds one of his hands, having a concussive energy blast ready to stun the criminal. He could adjust the power behind it so all it does is knock him off his feet with no injuries.

“I don’t think so! What are you supposed to be anyway?” The thief spits out toward Richard. The riots keep getting worse and this is only proof of it.

FIRE! —

Under the direction of Oracle, the League's infiltrators moved into action. The charms created by Raven disguised each of the them as unremarkable mutants, allowed them blend in with prisoners. Cyclops, Supergirl, and Captain America successfully completed the first part of the League's plan and accessed the control rooms adjacent to the laboratory. After the inhibitors were shut down, the rest of the team joined their leaders to assist in overwhelming and destroying the detention centers. 

A fourth charm was already in effect in Star City, unbeknownst to anyone but Cyclops, Batman, and Captain America, the leaders of the league and the X-Men. Nightwing, disguised as the mutant known as Primal, had already slipped into a NOVA patrol van with other mutants and metahumans bound for NOVA headquarters. At stake were the lives of the captives being held in the lab, all current or future subjects of genetic experimentation. Magneto waited nearby for his signal – his involvement merited secrecy from the leaders. The prisoners would be liberated.

The riots in Star City were barely held at bay through the combined efforts of the SCPD and responding vigilantes. Emergency responders were quickly overwhelmed by the sheer volume incidents and the city's hospitals reached full capacity. In several locations, NOVA agents deployed tear gas and administered brutal take-downs. SCPD officers and vigilantes were able to interfere and turn the tide, but could not fully contain the violence. The fury of the city's citizens had finally reached a tipping point.

As the majority of the city remained embroiled in the riots, a different problem arose at NOVA headquarters. Power to the entire building was cut and the agents and employees inside found themselves facing the wrath of Slade Wilson and Damian Wayne. The two cut their way through anyone who stood to oppose them, leaving a bloody trail in their wake.

GROUP 1, Detention Centers (Supergirl, Speed, Human Torch, Nightcrawler, Zatara, Captain America, Flash (Barry Allen), Rogue, Marvel Girl, Black Bat,  Iceman, Cyclops, Emma Frost, Black Widow, Bucky Barnes, Honey Badger, & Huntress.): Reread the infiltrator posts and post accordingly. All characters are free to infiltrate the detention centers now that the inhibitors are down. 

GROUP 2, Underwater Facility (Superman, Iron Man, Dr. Bruce Banner Moxie, Blue Beetle, Cyborg, Tempest, Flash (Wally West), Wiccan, Scarlet Witch, Nightstar, Wolverine, Gambit, Kid Omega, Cable, Raptor, & Red Robin.): Continue the Discord!

GROUP 3, Star City (Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Hawkeye, Batgirl, Batwoman, Loki, Signal, and anyone not currently listed in any of the above teams.): Feel free to react/respond to what is going on at NOVA’s headquarters.

He could practically taste it in the air. Fear. It tasted like the salty, grimy sweat that gathered in beads on someone’s forehead when they were stressed, tasted like the raw fingertips of an anxious nail-biter. For most people, these things would be considered revolting, but for Crane, it was like the greatest perfume ever created. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly. This could be good.

Carefully stepping behind someone in the crowd, he raised a hand and quickly inserted the syringe into the side of their neck and pushed down the plunger. He was suddenly reminded of the feeling of the toxin entering his own bloodstream and he tilted his head back with the memory of that feeling, the flood of adrenaline that came along with that kind of fear. 

He pulled his hand back and started to move backwards. He couldn’t draw too much attention to himself, after all, and it was always better to see the results of his experiments from a distance.

People were simple. Come shocking and twisted news, people react with violence and anger. They react with destruction, both property and otherwise. Peter had already broken up two fights and a looting - he didn’t think the station could hold any more people. He’d brought his elemental guns, of course; they were handy in group situations, as they could emit a quick shocking charge of electricity. The setting was turned down, though, so as to not stop anyone’s heart, but it was enough to render people unconscious, and therefore, easier to handle.

His guns worked perfectly - when the rioters and NOVA agents were in front of him. Someone managed to slip behind Peter and disarm him using brute force - he was pretty sure the guy threw a microwave at him. There was a flurry of hands as they reached for his neck, but he fended the guy off with a forearm as he reached for his weapon with the other. While it looked pretty bad, it definitely wasn’t the worst situation Peter’s been in.
