Right now, Noriaki has two goals: find his friends, and figure out the city. But this place is huge. Too much to explore in one day, for one person. Can you really fault him for getting distracted by the flashing arcade cabinets in the window? He needs to figure out quite a few things, but... well, a few games couldn’t hurt, could it?
A few games turned into a few hours of games, however. Unlimited access to so many cabinets, new and old... it was a trap from the start, to keep Noriaki entertained. And it worked easily. Every once in awhile he would get the feeling someone was watching him, but every time he turned around, nobody was looking. He should stay a little longer in case they confront him.
The single-player games were starting to get boring, though. Multiplayer would require talking to someone new... or it would, if he didn’t have Hierophant to play with him.
The moment he summons him, though, he felt the eyes turn to him again. He immediately turns towards the man with messy hair looking at him. Noriaki just stares back with a straight face. “Sorry, is something wrong?” He keeps Hierophant summoned. If this stranger wants to fight, he’ll be prepared.
