My Tomodachi Life Kiri-nins! (more screenshots under cut)

The Swordsmen and Suigetsu + random pals I wanted to do. Might consider adding someone more later. (also made Kushimaru with a face, not a mask, for zero reasons. :D)

Raiga also has Ranmaru to accompany him. But I don't like Ranmaru, so he's going under cut.

I also have this creature who was born from Ringo and Kushimaru. I did not want it (accidentally allowed them to get a kid), but since she was born, made her cute. Lol :D

It might be fun to take Raiga's arc into account when you talk about Kirian genocides. He may be ugly and filler (and also he may happen to share a few gross episodes of curry), but he is an interesting character and his and Ranmaru's meeting offer a bit of light on genocide — or, at least, at one of the possible ways to do it.

TLDR: genocides weren't always a direct order, people in villages of Land of Water suck

In case you didn't watch the episodes: Raiga is successor of Kiba, one of the Seven Swordsmen and a nukenin of Kirigakure. One day he is sent on a mission to kill the Ame spy — or something like that.

Ranmaru is a small disabled kid, his age not directly stated. He cannot walk by himself and he had Kekkei Genkai (some weird dojutsu, but KG is KG). He has no parents and villagers bring him food, because he's not able to take care of himself (he can't walk at all). But one day his KG is found out about by accident and the villagers stop feeding him. Normally, he would die in a few days (because he's small and weak).

However, a very interesting event happens: Raiga is set on a mission to kill the intruder. To the exact same village where few days ago a Kekkei Genkai kid was found. Also, Ranmaru didn't really seem to be actively dying, so that must've happened in a day or two after founding out. An interesting coincindence, isn't it? More than that, Raiga states that he forgot who he was supposed to kill — how convenient. He gets extremely sad over Ranmaru, picks the boy up and leaves to show him the world.

What can we do out of that one? Well, important things:

- Genocide wasn't always direct like many people seem to think. At least sometimes the missions were NOT about killing the Kekkei Genkai'd and even the ANBU may have received orders not about KG.

- Genocide was not only lead by Yagura, it was actively supported by common folk (another example of this is Haku's dad). Yes, it's probably due to propaganda, but... may actually not be.

And not so important:

- Someone in the village apparently called the higher-ups after seeing a disabled KG kid, or Raiga won't hape appeared so quickly. But, maybe, there was a spy in the village, who knows how information about Ranmaru's KG went out to government.

- Kirian ANBU was so low on people that they had to take in a mentally ill crybaby of a man who loves burying people and is also forgetful. By the way, Raiga knows he's forgetful, he states that at one point.

- Someone at some point abandoned their Kekkei Genkai kid and nothing was done because of that. Might actually make a fun common practice out of it. Or, maybe, a disabled kid — both reasons are valid. Should there even be a reason to throw out your kid in Kiri?

- Mentally ill people are apparently accepted into Seven Swordsmen (yes, we had sadists and freaks, but Raiga is genuinely ill). I'm not sure if thay's a good thing, though...

- Swordsmen love picking up kids, don't they?

You should watch Raiga's arc at least once. Ignoring the curry bits. Or enjoying them. He's an interesting critter and it's sad no one talks about him more. He's one of the most cruel and most kind people in Naruto imo.

Look at him. He's so happy with the kid.

How old do you think was Ringo when she died? I’m genuinely asking myself that for years now and I have no plan. They only said she was very young so perhaps maybe 18-23 years? She must be an adult I guess. What do you think?

Hi! Yes, I agree that Ringo was in that age gap — she doesn't look too old in animanga, but neither does she look like a child. That general artstyle of face is pretty common for Naruto kunoichi of that age from what I've noticed. Besides I think they would've said if she was a child. x)

She also has an adult human's voice, and it's actually pretty low in Japanese dub (unlike English, where her voice is average). Besides, she's claimed to be the strongest Kiba user and I doubt that a child could've achieved that.

I personally headcanon Ringo being 20 years at time of her death (maybe 21 at most). But that could vary depending on what you'll decide! Kiri-nins' chronology is very vague to the point people sometimes get confused (I keep hearing sometimes that Rin was Jinchuuriki after Yagura, for example). I have my own written version of Swordsmen chronology, but it's mostly made of headcanons (since we don't really have anything canon in most places) :D I can share it, but can't guarantee it's 1000% canon-accurate despite me trying to base it on canon. It also doesn't have any major events, just Swordsmen's births and deaths (and minor stuff like genin graduation for someone) because I was creating it to understand who could've interacted with each other.

I have a something to say about Boruto's New 7SK arc.

Disclaimer: Sorry, I have no idea how the arc is called properly (School Trip probably?), but to clarify - it's a filler arc from EP25 to EP32 of Boruto anime. I'm not a big fan of Boruto as an anime, but since it included 7SK, I felt obliged to watch it. XD

Now, that being said, my words aren't about the arc itself, but, rather about one particular screenshot - that one (yup, it's actually two screenshots glued into one, but who cares).

That image appears when Shikadai tells Boruto about the history and says about 7SK. But look at the Swordsmen... doesn't something feel a bit off?

For Shibuki we have Jinpachi - makes sense since he's the only known wielder. Same goes for Nuibari and Kabutowari, I have no questions here, Kushimaru and Jinin have all rights to be here. I also kind of don't think there was an option for Samehada, since Fuguki's the only legitimate owner (Kisame is a nukenin and Killer Bee isn't even a Kirinin). Zabuza is also okay, he was a loyal Kirinin for some time and probably got Kubikiribocho normally. All these guys were the last and/or the only known legitimate wielders, so that doesn't raise any questions.

What really bugs me is, well, the other swords: Kiba and Hiramekarei. Why was Raiga chosen, specifically? He's not the strongest Kiba wielder (that's Ameyuri for you), but, well, he's the last. But this picture cannot show the last wielders... because, well, that man with Hiremekarei is not the last wielder. And he's also not the strongest (that will be Mangetsu). That dude isn't even the last dead person to be in possesion of 'Karei - it's still Mangetsu. What makes me so sure that the guy was before Mangetsu, not after?

This. Can you see him, with his smug face, looking down at the poor Konoha kiddos from his rock? That man was not made by Boruto scenarists - he existed in Naruto too (and if needed, he was in a manga panel too, that's not a filler scene - though it shouldn't matter since Boruto's episode is filler either way). And the only fact we know about him comes in handy now: he died during Dai's attack (it is known that four people died, and Fuguki, Juzo and Raiga are seen in episodes after that one chronologically, making other guys rest in peace).

It just feels so off. Like someone cut out Mangetsu and Ameyuri on purpose, despite them being the strongest in their leagues. I'm not saying it was the scenarists, no - I have a feeling that this isn't a coincidence. It's almost as if they did something too bad for Kiri's reputation and needed to be erased from the records as much as possible. Considering that Chojuro wasn't shy to wipe out living people, he can be able to wipe out the dead too. After all, the dead won't object.

I don't really have an idea what you should do to be wiped out from the record, considering that Jinpachi killed a family member and Kushimaru killed his sensei, but both of them remained on the pages of history.

That's all I wanted to say. Someone's messing with the history, silently, yet surely (also that opens up a field of headcanons what did these two do to be wiped out).
