What is Deku's relationship with Star? And Hekappo's relationship with Bakugo?
I can’t answer the Heckapoo relationship with Bakugou in depth because the ship wasn’t my Idea, I only designed Kouki’s appearance and powers, so you may wanna go talk to @knivxsanddespair whom I’m sure has a far more comprehensive idea
But I personally see their relationship as far more playful, kind of a flirty and teasing ‘started out as Heckapoo taunting Bakugou because he’s funny when he’s angry how the hell did they get here from there’ type thing
Think Kili and Tauriel without the unnecessary amount of Legolas
And as for Deku and Star… Okay so this one was actually hatched between both myself and @gererrin so you could ask her too if you want her personal take on it, but here’s my idea:
The whole story part of the StarDeku setup hinges on two factors: Who is Star staying with, and How does she get into UA. Who she’s staying with until the Dorms happen is the big indicator of who she’ll befriend. Because if she stays with Izuku she’ll end up being part of the Dekusquad, but if she stays with literally anyone else she’ll end up part of the Bakusquad (See the Bakustar discussion on that) it’s kinda like an Otome game in that regard, granted it’s difficult for two protagonists to end up together since they both exist AS the Main Hero in their narratives, you have to be gunning for the StarDeku ending from the very start.
the thing is, Izuku has a very palpable ‘Inspiration Miasma’ of sorts, being a Shounen Protag and basically the definition of a Paragon, that basically comes with the job, but that would have a very interesting effect on Star, whose got a ‘Wild Child’ Miasma of her own.
Just being around Izuku and watching how hard he works at getting into UA what goes from ‘I want to go to the same School as my Earth Guide’ becomes a full out goal of Star’s. She was supposed to be looking for a Hero School anyway, that was basically the only reason she was sent to this dimension anyway so like, why not? Just watching him train his body to the breaking and leaning over his own textbook to help Star pass the written test herself kinda... just inherently makes her want to keep up with him, makes her want to be a good Princess in the same vein.
Alternately, Star would be basically his only friend at the start, granted this is all pre-UA setup, and more likely than not physically fought Bakugou at least once in his honor. he’d actually be a bit more confident going into the exams. While he’d still probably take the same actions he did before, Ochako wouldn’t be the only one who approached a teacher and asked to transfer their points to him.
I feel like at the end of it Izuku and Star would have a very understanding, sweet and overall supporting relationship, with one being the either’s biggest cheerleader.
