Any tips for someone who just started playing Stardew? I chose the Forest farm, I heard it's a lil harder but man I wanted the cozy forest vibes 😭
Oof, yeah forest is a little more difficult to farm on since it has every little to til. BUT! Foraging is your best friend. Since you’re newer, if you haven’t don’t the community center before, don’t stress too much about it, start on all the crops, lower level fish, and forage items the first year.
The second year, you should have opened the cave when Demetrius came by and asked if you wanted fruit bats or mushrooms. If you have a dehydrator, mushrooms is okay and produces every day, but I personally go with fruit bats if you want to get the community center done, also the bats ups your foraging levels whilst the mushrooms just produce everyday.
Spend your winters mining, fishing, and upgrading your tools! The higher levels those two things are, the more stuff you’ll get at a faster pace!
I don’t want to spoil too much for you. But if/when you make it to the desert, if you haven’t made it to level 100 of the mines, you can’t get into the mines there. So I personally would wait til about year two to try and unlock the bus.

Harvey: Coffee! You can give that to him everyday no problem!
Sam: Pizza! You can also do joja cola he likes that just fine.
Leah: Salads! She loves them and any other forgeable that you can eat!
Shane: the problem child likes beer and pizza! He’s always at the saloon so he’s an ‘easy’ option as well. He’s also C’s man’s. She has issues.
Believe it or not, Sebastian: he likes sashimi, if you get the recipe, you are golden as long as you can find him.
Focas on giving gifts on birthdays and then just talking to people every other day to avoid friendship loss!
