An Alpha!Whiskey thought because we both miss him so damn much

You wake up from a nightmare, panting and crying and he is just so worried. Even in the dark of the room you can see how worried his eyes are before he pulls you into his chest and starts scenting you all over until you fall asleep again. He hates to see you in pain like that and will do anything he can to help it go away.

The next morning you still reek of his scent but neither of you mind.

Oh yes. I’ve definitely been thinking of alpha whiskey lately and this is perfect.

He probably senses your distress before you wake. Even if you’re not stirring, he can still smell the fear rolling off of you in your sleep. He wakes you slowly, telling you to come back to him, that you’re safe, that he’s got you.

When you do startle awake, he’s there. Reassuring you with the same words, scenting you with as much of his calming pheromone as you can stand. If you want to talk about it, he’ll listen. If you don’t, he’ll just keep scenting you through the night and into the morning.
