It was highly unusual for the defense attorney to seek comfort from his brother. Of anyone at all, actually. He usually preferred to hide his feelings, but it seemed it had come to a point where his emotions had no other place to go but spill out. That it always came down to him crying wasn’t something he liked at all. It was embarrassing. It was shameful. It was something for others to make fun of him for. And yet, here he was, seeking comfort for the first time in maybe months, or even years.
“H-he- H-”
Oh, how he fucking hated sobbing like this. He could never get a word out, and before he managed to calm down enough to somewhat coherently state what he wanted to convey, another wave of sobs took him back down again. It was no use to attempt to tell Nahyuta about this now. It... Actually might be a while before he’d be able to tell him about Clay. About what happened. About everything. Just thinking about Clay would set him off again, and that was exactly the reason he preferred to keep it to himself for now. His brother knew the basics, Datz probably told him about it. That was all he was going to know for a while, sadly.
“H- H--”
It was no use.
He couldn’t tell him about how great Clay was. About how unjustly he was taken from him, like many others in his life. He couldn’t catch a break, could he?
He missed him.
He missed him so much.
The lawyer clinged to Nahyuta still; clinged as tight as he could. The jacket the astronaut had left behind (and which was way too big for Apollo to fit properly) was covering his usual outfit, and smelled faintly of lavender. That had been a favourite smell of the guy, and a sort of good luck charm, too- though it didn’t help much in the end.
After attempting one last time to voice his concerns and feelings, and getting the exact same result, he pulled away from Nahyuta. And then Apollo instantly turned to whatever was in reach (in this case the wall,) and simply launched a fist at it. It hurt, of course, but he couldn’t care less. Nothing would ever hurt worse than losing Clay.
‘do you want a COFFEE, dear? you look a little tired.’ she certainly wouldn’t still be awake after so many back to back shifts if she didn’t have a constant source of CAFFEINATED beverages at her aid.

In the fourth grade. They became friends after Miles defended Phoenix over a false accusation when his lunch money was lost

Phoenix.

They had it after they proved Simon innocent. Miles kissed Phoenix as thanks, it was pure spur of the moment.

Phoenix. After Trucy and Maya insisted he do it.
What was their first official date?
Miles took them to a nice French restaurant
How do they feel about double dates/group dates?
Miles prefers when it’s just them, but he does enjoy going with Maya and Franziska. He makes sure she leaves her whip at home so she doesn’t hit Phoenix when he says something she considers dumb.
What do they do in their down time?
They curl up on the couch together and Miles reads while Phoenix watches TV as they cuddle.
What was the first meeting of parents as an official couple like?
Well... seeing as how neither of them have parents, this won’t happen. rip.
What was their first fight over and how did they get past it?
It was over Miles needing to take a brief trip to Europe to help Sebastian and Phoenix got panicky and blew up on Miles, but they talked it out and Miles vowed to keep in contact, and he emailed, called and texted Phoenix at every chance he could before he came home.
Which one is more easily made jealous?
Miles, but he doesn’t show it easily.
What is their favourite thing to get to eat?
Italian or take-out

Both, but mostly Phoenix. Their favorite position is Phoenix being tucked into Edgeworth’s side.

Absolutely. Miles likes to play with Phoenix’s ring.

About a year, possibly a year and a month or so. It’s mostly to ease Miles into that sort of intimacy.

Depends on their mood. They switch, but it’s mostly Miles.

The first fight that was mentioned above. Miles feared that Phoenix didn’t trust him to be away for a few days, but they talked it out.

Both. They do everything together, even Trucy helps.

Gumshoe is Edgeworth’s best man, Larry is Phoenix’s. The ‘groomsmen’ for Miles are literally just Franziska, Kay and Ema. Phoenix has Maya, Pearl, Athena. Trucy is their flower girl.

Fairly small. They had it in court though, and the Judge officiated it

Yes, and to Italy bye.
