Johanna had been watching Edward silently from the sidelines as he played his piano before she finally found the courage to ask the question that lingered on her mind. However as soon as she did, she found herself overwhelmed with a feeling of nervousness. After all, she - along with her brother and Alice - had only just joined the family no more than a week ago. Did Edward consider her asking him to teach her ... intrusive?

        the most life changing thing to happen to him , and the only thing that was running through his head was ‘ and then i saw her face , now i’m a believer ‘. a stupid joke because he couldn’t be serious for five damn seconds. except , the joke reigned utterly true. because he did just ‘ see her face ‘ and now , fuck , he was such a damn believer of this imprint stuff. he couldn’t look away , it was like his eyes were drawn to her. like a beautiful waterfall or a devastating car wreck. either way , both were life altering and just too damn eye catching. kim connweller ... god , did her name always sound that good? it’s a good fucking name. 

        of course , he had seen her face before ... had even spoken to her once or twice ( never anything to write home about ) , but it was like he was seeing it for the first time ever. it’s like every curve , dip and mark just took his damn breath away. was he always this blinded? she was breathtaking. and had always been right there! right next to him! she should’ve smacked him sooner ; anything to have made him actually look at her. at the sound of the bell indicating the end of the period , jared was all but falling over himself to try and get one word out there to her before she’d go off to wherever she needed to go. “ k --- kim! “ he called out , a bit too loudly if he was being honest with himself. she was , after all , just a few feet away from him. in fact , he could turn his desk around and it’d just barely be touching hers. now all he needed was a plausible reason to be talking to her right now. one that wasn’t ‘ hey the world just gave me a massive hint to who my soulmate is and , guess what , it’s you ‘. “ ... notes. uh , can i see your notes? “ he had been gone for about two weeks , maybe more , it made sense for him to ask for them , right?

   “You know you’ve kept me waiting a long time” Though Alice doesn’t seem to hold any of it against him, olive brown eyes settle on his face almost enraptured with it. He looks just like how her visions have shown her, but somehow better? It’s always better in the flesh anyways. “I was beginning to think you’d never show up”
