Description
Starija are the slightly bulkier evolutions of Ninstars. Their bodies are a teal color with a golden yellow stripe running down the center of their bodies. They have 2 sharp blade-like 'ears' and two sharp triangular bladed wings. Their tail is a rubbery and flexible teal and gray diamond shape, with the center corners protruding to a point.
These Pokemon flap their wings at high-speed, much like that of an insect or hummingbird. They hold their body in a stiff position as they fly, and use their tail to move them in the right direction. They favor the fruits of trees and will hover around the fruit as they munch on it right off of the branch. When food is scarce, Starija are known to gather in large numbers and raid Marli berry and Grape farms.
When threatened they will lower their heads and attack their opponents from the air, hoping that the blade-like appendages will slice an opponent open.
