eek. "the world should all be kumbaya and skin color doesn't matter and we're all part of the same race!" say the people who've never been systematically oppressed for the color of their skin ever.
exactly! and like I don't want to make any assumptions about what she has and hasn't experienced in her life because she is latina and her family as a whole aren't as light as she is (besides the fact that prefame she wasn't as pale) but Lauren pls. Also I haven't been in this fandom very long. They all fuck up on occasion and probably will again that's a part of learning and evolving, 4/5 are very young and would either be just starting college/finishing high school, but man that one threw me for a loop because like i get where she's trying to come from I think but it's just so not good.

I mean compared to a lot of private schools UCLA is definitely cheaper. (But they really don’t offer as many...
well yeah, private schools are ridiculously expensive so i don't really plan on going to one. ucla is definitely a lot more costly compared to a lot of public schools. i mean 55k is making me sweat lol.
starkofwinterfell replied to your post: why is ucla so expensive ;-;
UCLA tuition sucks if you’re out of state. most private schools’ tuition sucks too. if you can afford it or choose a major where you can pay off your loans reasonably then it’s absolutely worth it! if you want advice, I was out of state!
thanks, alyssa! i'm definitely still trying to decide what i can and can't afford. i feel like going in undecided might be kind of a risk money wise.. but yeah, still trying to figure things out :(

UCLA is definitely not cheap. Like obviously it’s cheaper than private schools bc duh private but its 30k per yr for residents and like 55k for non residents. For a public university it’s definitely super expensive
it is! i'm hurting just thinking about it lol. ucla's been my dream school/"goal" ever since before i even started high school so seeing the reality of the situation literally sucks so bad. even in-state it's ridiculous.

huh that’s interesting! what type do you think dany is? I’ve seen dany typed as INFJ everywhere so I thought that was accurate. some of mine seemed odd too though, lol. I have no idea how to type, so I just go off what other people put on the web lol
INFP
I'm not talking about show!Dany since her character there has been reduced to "super hot queen with dragons" (actually I have a lot of problems with show!Dany)
INFPs are the dreamers, and Dany is such a dreamer: house with a red door (her childhood home in Braavos and a symbol of her innocence), romanticizing her relationships with Drogo since (can't find the meta discussing this) it was the first time in her life she thought she was secure and in control, she is very idealistic.
"Although they may be reserved in expressing emotion, they have a very deep well of caring and are genuinely interested in understanding people."
Dany understands disadvantaged people, specifically slaves, it's why she stays in Slaver's Bay (and Essos) instead of going to Westeros. She is reserved in showing her emotions, see every single time she says "the blood of the dragon does not weep."
"INFPs are flexible and laid-back, until one of their values is violated. In the face of their value system being threatened, INFPs can become aggressive defenders, fighting passionately for their cause. Although they are not detail-oriented individuals, they will cover every possible detail with determination and vigor when working for their'"cause'."
Same thing here, her cause is the liberation of slaves. She doesn't focus on the details as much, like what do I do when i am going to rule a hostile, starving city?
