STARK IS RIGHT , AND THOR GAZES UP AT HIM , SPRAWLED ON THE CONCRETE DURING A SERIES OF ATTACKS . not hurt , but winded , and glances around for his axe , having thrown it at an enemy only moments prior . once upon a time , not even an age ago , Thor would've thrown gestures of assistance back , assuming they , in some way , diminished his strength and made him appear more vulnerable than he was . seeing kindness for something else entirely .

but time taught him the errors of his ways , and he is grateful for the metallic hand Tony offers , helping Thor up to his feet . nods his appreciation , and pushes back messy dark hair . ❝ thanks . right on time as usual . you haven't seen Guðvinr anywhere , have you ? “ speaking from experience? ” quick remark is delivered in her best sarcastic tone though words have clearly struck a nerve --- but she knows better than to let her guard down with someone she hasn’t fully figured out yet. crossed arms loosen as she she leans against the railing, icy eyes taking in the skyline and city lights in front of her. this deal is not ideal, but then again it’s a small sacrifice to pay to continue her job in peace.

“ i’ve got my back covered, mr stark. ” she speaks again, confidence dripping through words --- her line of work may be annoying sometimes but if the brotherhood has survived for so long it has to mean something, right? “ so many lawyers. ” enphasis on the last word, she’ll let him figure out the rest on his own. finally she turns, narrowed gaze set on him just to dart on someone behind him. “ i’m not here for you anyway, but let’s see how fast it all catches up, shall we? ”
