May I ask what book press you work for? I'm interested in getting involved as a editor but am only just starting out.
I work for Harris House Publishing, which is a religious nonfiction press. It’s... very much not my style or interest, but I got the job through some personal contacts with the owner while I was in college and it’s been good for experience. Which is probably not very helpful for you sorry lol But if you want some suggestions/advice on getting started in editing I can probably give you some?
