hmm it’s tricky to answer this! i think you can definitely get a crush on first sight or the sense that someone will be special to you in some way! but also, relationships take time and effort. you can’t just have initial infatuation, you need to work on things, strive to communicate well, want to bring out the best in each other, be willing to listen, etc...
@the anon w the religious family : i feel you !!! i come from a really conservative muslim family, and i still haven’t come out to my parents. i have come out to my brothers, though, and they took it pretty well.
