StarMassacre + Family Life for @misslivvie
My Neighbor Paul
Mick leads a rather standard life, living alone in his flat that his friends often invade because they were out of chips, while dealing with his ankylosing spondylitis. His main source of comfort is the true crime videos he watches on YouTube, specifically those of YouTuber Paul Stanley, who does wild and creative makeup designs while talking about true crime.
One day, Mick gets a new neighbor in the rowhouse next door, a man his age named Paul. A man who looks very familiar...

I'm so sorry 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Another gift for @misslivvie
Mick Mars is living alone in his flat, trying to live a normal life with his sickness, that makes the things he enjoyed the most almost impossible to enjoy. Thankfully, there is his favorite Youtuber, who talks about a real life crime while putting in make up.
What if Mick's favorite Youtuber becomes his neighbor?

OMFG "Look at you... Goodness you're so cute." with Paul and Mick! 😍
ALRIGHTY so this is a new AU I’ve cooked up for these two that I swear on my future grave I will write one day lol and if I don’t y’all have permission to constantly hound my ass about it. The basic context for it can be explained in this lovely post made by the equally lovely @bloody-teared-angel! Enjoy!

Of all the things Mick was expecting to see when he answered the door, it was definitely not Paul with pink makeup all over his face. He arched an eyebrow. “Can I help you?”
“Do you have any eyeliner?”
Mick’s eyebrow lifted a little higher. “Come again?”
“Eyeliner,” Paul repeated. “My eyeliner ran out in the middle of recording and I haven’t had the chance to go out and get more.”
“... I should have some in my bathroom,”
Paul smiled in relief. “Thanks. I can buy you another one when I go out to replace mine.”
Mick shrugged as he stepped aside to let Paul inside. “Doesn’t matter. Nikki wears it more than I do.”
“Your bathroom’s down this way, right?” Paul pointed up the stairs.
“Yeah, just go up and grab it,”
Paul smiled happily and pumped his fist. “Yes! Okay, I’ll be right back.”
He ran up the stairs to the bathroom, the wooden steps creaking under his feet. After a moment, Mick called up after him. “So what are you using the eyeliner for?”
“For my eyes, of course,” Paul called back. Mick could hear rustling as he looked for the eyeliner. “And for the hearts.”
“Hearts?”
“Yeah, the hearts.” Paul stuck his head out the bathroom door within view of the stairs and pointed at his cheekbones. “I’m gonna draw them on my cheekbones.”
“... Okay. What kinda look are you doin’ this time?”
Paul grinned excitedly at him before disappearing back into the bathroom. “It’s a kawaii look! Y’know, like in Japan?”
“Oh,” What? “Like those mangas meant for girls Vince thinks no one knows he likes to read?”
“Those are called shojo mangas, and yeah. It’s all about the cute!” Paul suddenly gave a shout of triumph. “Aha! Found it!”
Mick couldn’t help the corner of his mouth quirking up in a small smile as Paul came back down the stairs, the thin tube of eyeliner in hand. “This is perfect!” he said happily as he descended.
“Look at you. God, you’re so cute,” Mick didn’t even realize the affection that had crept into his sentence, or even that he’d said it aloud.
Paul laughed. “That’s the goal, Mickey. But thanks.” He swooped in to quickly kiss him on the cheek. “I’ll return this as soon as I finish recording, I promise.”
“Nah, you can keep it. Nikki won’t miss it.” Knowing Nikki, though, if he found out Mick had given it to Paul he would never hear the end of the teasing.
“Thanks, Mickey. I owe you one.”
“Take me out to dinner sometime,”
Paul laughed. “Done. See you later!”
The affectionate smile remained on Mick’s face as Paul practically skipped out the front door. He opened the door, then turned and waved his fingers at Mick with a grin. “Bye, cutie!” he sang.
“Shut up, gorgeous,”
