For Starmora Week Hit AND Miss. Peter’s gonna be fine...probably.
For Starmora Week Day 2: Loved. Here’s some of my favorite Starmora drawings from the past few years.
Starmora Week 2020
The dates and prompts for Starmora Week 2020 are here! It’ll be taking place the last week of the year (December 27- January 2), with the following prompts:
Day 1: Morning || Starlight
Day 2: Vulnerable || Loved
Day 3: Weapon || Reminder
Day 4: Hit || Miss
Day 5: Movement || Match
Day 6: Steady || Sway
Day 7: Free Day
Guidelines:
- You can chose the prompt you like or combine both and interpret them in your own artistic vision
- All types of fanwork are accepted! Fanart, fanfiction, edits, gifsets, playlists, moodboards, and so on
- If your work is late, or you can only do one or two prompts, that’s fine!
This is an event that should be first and foremost fun for you to participate in, not an obligation or something for you to worry about.
If all you do for Starmora Week is write a three sentence drabble or make a single gif for the free day- awesome!
Tag it as #starmoraweek2020 and it’ll be reblogged here!
This week is all about appreciating this couple, so any content about them is welcomed and appreciated!
Don’t worry if you can’t think of something for all the days, or you can’t finish in time.
Real life happens, and this event is meant to be enjoyable for you as a creator, not stressful. Please don’t feel pressured if you feel like you can’t finish something, and keep in mind the deadline is completely made up and doesn’t actually exist- it can be easy to get caught up in a project, but taking care of yourself and your well being is the most you can do sometimes, and that’s okay.
- Anything you contribute is something that wouldn’t exist without you, which is very cool of you. So take your time, have fun, and ask if you have any questions!
Hello, may I ask when Starmora Week is for 2020? I'm curious because this is my first year in the fandom and I don't wanna miss it ›-‹ thank you so much!
Oh, thank you for asking! I have all the prompts ready, and I’ll try to have them posted this week. I’m trying to give at least two months between when the prompts are posted and when starmora week starts just because of how life is for everybody right now, so that means it’ll be held in either November or December.
I’ll have the prompts and the exact dates posted soon!
Starmora week day 7: waiting/always
"Aw, you waited for me," Gamora smiled, both surprised and not surprised to see Peter there.
He pushed off the wall he'd been waiting against, popping his neck that had gotten a little stiff from being in the same position so long. He maybe didn't have the best posture, doubly so when slumping against the brick wall of some boring building.
"I'm always waiting for you," Peter said, with that typical roguish charm of his. Then he paused, his face scrunching up in distaste. "Ugh, no, forget that, that sounded way more romantic in my head."
Gamora laughed. "I know what you meant."
It was nice to be able to see his face right away after such a long and trying day. And honestly, it did sound like some romantic line. Probably the only reason it didn't quite work was the situation- Peter waiting out here for god knows how long probably bored out of his mind. That made it sound like more of a complaint than something to swoon over.
"Thank you," Gamora said seriously, pulling him closer and kissing his cheek. "I'm glad you're here."
Starmora Week Day Five: Warrior. Here’s a sketch of these two sparring—Gamora always wins, and Peter is more than fine with that. Maybe someday I’ll color this, but until then, please enjoy ponytail Gamora! <3
Starmora Week Day Four: Partner. Because I never pass up a chance to draw these two dancing. (And if you Google “couple dancing,” you get lots of good reference photos for fanart. :D)
Take on me (Starmora Week)
Day 4: partner/rhythm
Summary:
They don't have time for this. Not if they want to make it out of here alive and with Peter's memory intact. For once in his life he has a healthy sense of caution, which is really inconvenient considering their time frame.
Nevermind the fact that the first time they met she tried to kill him, and he still saved her life and placed his trust in her even though he had several very solid reasons not to. No, this is the time where Peter insists she give him a reason to trust her (the fact that it’s not an unreasonable request infuriates her to no end). Unfortunately, Gamora doesn’t have anything to convince a memory-less Peter Quill that what she says is true, they are friends, and they need to get moving now.
Gamora pinches the bridge of her nose and growls. "How am I supposed to prove it to you when you don't remember anything, dumbass?"
"I don't know!" Peter squawks. "I have a vested interest in keeping myself alive, and right now that means not trusting the chick carrying a fucking sword."
