Starmora prompt: I know it's probably too klischee but just imagine in guardians 3 after the Avengers succeed in bringing back everyone who got turned into dust Peter focuses his every thought, his entire energy on bringing Gamora back and he succeeds but rescuing her from the soul world erases big parts of her memory. Peter will be so crazy happy to have her back that he accepts the tremendous pain of seeing her every day without being able to touch her or see her face light up in that very special way that is reserved for only him. All he will have of her are a few stolen glances. He will shy away from any opportunity he would have previously used to flirt with her or make her smile because it would rip his heart right out of his chest not being able to tell her how much he had missed her and how much he ached to hold her in his arms again. But Peter would bear all this because seeing the love of his life alive and well is the most important thing and he fears that he could put her into danger again if he gets too close. Gamora would catch him staring at her when he must think that she isn't paying attention. She's doing her best not to be too cold towards those people calling themself the Guardians of the Galaxy. While she isn't invested in any kind of relationships, it's nothing but unnecessary distraction, this strange bunch seemed to have gained her trust and what must come as close to friendship as Gamora can go. But Peter intrigues her because she can't figure him out. When she is at a save distance he plays the stubborn, aggrogant and reckless hero but he also seems funny and loving, ready to give everything for the team, not that Gamora cared. But she did. Because as soon as she walks in a room, he stops talking, acts awkward or leaves. He doesn't even look at her for the universes sake. Why doesn't he look at her? When she asks Drax, who is known to have no filter for niceties, what he says shocks her to the bone - "You were his girlfriend, Gamora."
