“I have a bad feeling about this..” ((💛 wanted to send one too bc I love seeing your portrayal so I just went with the infamous sw quote))
This spaceship was a bucket and the man knew that. Still it was space worthy ---he hoped. His helmet was off as rare as it was. Set to the side. His cloak and robe tossed over it as he worked in the panel. "You know, that's not helping or reassuring in any way." he stated to her bobbing up from where he was working. A smear of oil across a cheek and his hair was in his face "I am hoping to get it space ready within the hour, and let me tell you it is no small feat." he held a hand out and a angular wrench flew into his hand.
"Do you know anything about ship repair ?" he asked "My father once told me. If you can't hot wire it, than its not worth having." he wondered why he said that. He had not thought of Han Solo as his father in a long time--and yet--here they were. Still, he had once wanted to be the best pilot in the Galaxy and follow in his father's footsteps. This meant he had paid such close attention to him and what he was taught. He was able to fix this bucket of bolts and with any luck at all they would be Space bound shortly.
He had not forgotten anything he learned. In fact he worked on his own fighter, as opposed to allowing those in the First Order touch her.
"How convincing do I have to be to reassure you we will be just fine ?"
