Diamond
A stunning beauty with a starlit flicker, She appears in the starry stratosphere
Wearing a billion stars in the form of a sparkly gown
Being sewn together with a diamond needle
Beautifully sewn and woven
It's so breathtakingly stunning
At night it shimmers, A Diamond's brilliance...
She twirls around in the shimmery stratosphere, Round and round like a starry merry-go-round
Wearing white diamonds in the form of heels
Being weaved together with a diamond needle
Beautifully woven and knitted
It's so breathtakingly striking
At night it sparkles, Every time she saunters...
She's a diamond...
The Cheater
(This is a short one-shot I wrote for @bloodkirby because we played a little game last night. I don’t normally post my writing, but I guess there’s a first time for everything... I hope it’s okay!)
A lively TV screen flickered with many bright colors as it seemed to be the only light in one of the living rooms inside of King Bowser’s Castle. The rest of the room was dark and only the silhouettes of furniture could be identified. In front of the flashing TV sat two figures of koopas on a large couch, one was smaller than the other and was standing on the couch with his short legs. Their faces glowed as all of their attention was drawn towards the screen of the TV, and the room was far from being silent as loud crashing, banging, and sizzling noises could be heard coming from the television. Not to mention the smaller koopa wasn’t exactly the silent type.
“Come on, come on!” He screeched in a high pitched voice. The koopa was young and quite chubby as he held a white wheel in his clawed hands. He wore a bib around his neck that had a drawing of a fierce mouth on it and was only visible when the pictures on the TV screen were brightly lit, otherwise only his large maw and flaming, orange ponytail could be seen. The koopa sitting next to him seemed to be his counterpart. She sat quietly with a large and rectangular controller in her hands; focused on the game that was being played on the screen. Her long, black hair kept draping over her sleek glasses, which were gleaming from the TV’s light show. There was a delayed moment of silence between the two as the game continued with its fast-paced music.
“Yes! It looks like I won, Junior hehe!” The female koopa suddenly said as she giggled playfully. She looked over to Junior with a small smile that quickly dropped when she saw his bitter expression. The younger koopa growled at the screen of the TV and whipped to his side to glare at the other koopa.
“No fair, Suzi!” He barked as he stomped his foot on the couch he stood on. Suzie flinched at the young prince and looked at him with surprise.
“What?” She said with hesitation. Junior growled again and tapped his foot with annoyance.
“You cheated!” He accused her with frustration. Suzi stood up and looked at the younger koopa so they were both eye level. She shook her head, still in shock over his abrupt outburst.
“N-no, I didn’t,” she stammered, “I’ve been sitting next to you this whole time.” Her reasoning didn’t seem to catch Bowser Junior’s attention, for he went on with his tantrum.
“Yes you did,” he snapped at her once more, “cheater, cheater, cheater, cheater!”
“Junior I-” Suzi was cut off by Junior leaping off of the couch. He looked at her with daggers in his tiny, beady eyes.
“I’m gonna tell my papa!” He yelled and began bolting out of the dark room. Barely even a few seconds later, Junior could be heard calling for his papa repeatedly. Suzi stood, not knowing what to think.
“I would quickly find a hiding spot if I were you.” A deep voice chuckled appearing from the dark to stand near Suzi.
“Thanks, Ludwig, that doesn’t sound like a bad idea.” Suzi sighed as she glanced over at the blue haired koopa.
“Don’t mention it.” He nodded his head slightly and began to walk past the koopa in peril. When Bowser Junior’s voice echoed throughout the castle again, Suzi groaned and headed off in the opposite direction to save herself from the king himself.
I tend to be in a lot of horror movie scenarios, but most ended up being explainable or low risk. THAT BEING SAID, I think the scariest one that comes to mind that still scares me to this day was when I was the only one awake in the house working late when I heard some strange noises at the front door. I’m like huh, turn around, both my cats are staring daggers at the door and FULLY proofed up (which if you know my cats they rarely ever do that). The noises continue, but I thankfully had the good sense not to open it. I moved around to a window facing the door and there was NOTHING out there. IT JUST STOPPED. I AM CONSTANTLY TORMENTED BY OCCURRENCES.
Everlasting Starlight
The atmosphere finally veers its color into a deep navy blue, and the moon emerges in a newly formed hour.
Much like the atmosphere, it's brilliant and luminous, The night was overcast with the specks of billions of sparkly stars.
Perhaps it's a purposeful theme, maybe Mother Nature didn't want to include any alterations and modifications to the vast canvas.
As the night bloomed and the light became brighter and brighter, the sparkly stars were brightly flickering, and it was particularly brilliant on moonless nights like this night, it was like the world itself brightened up.
Its phosphorescence roused her awake, Peyton slowly opened up her eyes and noticed that her starlit pendant was brightly resonated alarmingly.
She looked over to the nightstand and noticed that the starlit mirror and its visage also brightly resonated, she began to lean over and grabbed the starlit mirror and looked at its visage
The visage has an image of the binary system in the constellation
An eclipse of one star by another in a binary system, causing it to bloom in a milky way
She gasps at the realization
Suddenly she has a sinking feeling about this
Then the visage went dark for a couple of seconds and then unexpectedly, the starlit visage of the garden's brilliance transported her
Eventually, she did faint beforehand from the luminance
Suddenly the starlit mirror went dark once again
When she came to and noticed that the starlit mirror resided on the ground
She got up and picked it up, and dusted it off, and began the tour of the vast sanctuary
Seeing the luminescence throughout, the brilliant glow is unprecedented
As the garden's interior began to be taken over by the unparalleled luminescence
The white roses in a row are illuminated as the stars in the night sky, even matching them
Standing in the starlit garden, basking in the brilliant glow
Holding the starlit mirror in her hand
Gazing up at the illuminating stars above through the glass chamber
The illumination brightens the interior of the garden
Putting her in somewhat of a trance
Trying to process what's going on
She heard a voice calling her name
"PEYTON!" "PEYTON!" "PEYTON!"
However, she didn't respond to it
Instead, she silently stood there
While basking in the illuminating starlight
Then she knew her fate was truly sealed
At the moment everything is set
Her life as she knew it, began to change
The starlight always has a way of revealing itself to those who are not aware of its presence
She felt its presence and was even stunned by it
Suddenly everything went completely dark
She lost consciousness and her starlit pendant went dark as well
The sudden silence is deafening and eerie
The eclipse's aftereffects have set themselves in
fun fact my best friends older sister actually ran away and joined the circus. uh . ya
