while I do agree that kh3 wont take 10 years I would like them to take their time on it, assuming nomura is still fleshing out the story. a nice 2 yr break would be nice. it would kill me, but I would hope it would be worth it

real quick it’s so funny that you wrote ‘kh3′ just because on one hand yeah it’s just a simple mistake, on the other we’re so used to waiting for kh3 that this may have just been muscle memory haha

but yeah I see you. I know Nomura said in KH3′s artwork book that released with the KH PS4 that he rewrote the story many times, but ultimately decided to do something simple, and I could be wrong but I think that’s why 80% of the plot happened in the last world or two. I think the guy already knows a lot of what he wants to do (probably because he wanted to do a lot in this game, but couldn’t overcrowd it due to either appeal or to space), I think the challenge is just trying to coat it in with disney’s sudden turn of being strict (which PLEASE let it just be KH3 that disney was like that. I’m afraid now that disney saw how much money it made they’ll remain super tight in the future too).

Hopefully overall he can balance a more gradual story then KH3, but I think he definitely has a lot written in his head already. I could be wrong, but KHUX story seems to have already been thought out by the time KHX first came out, so all the connections to KH3 and KHUX will finish off with were probably in Nomura’s head for a long time, and because of that I would think during KH3′s development Nomura was already daydreaming of KH’s future for at least a few years. But that’s just from reading between the lines in interviews, 2.5′s connections to KHUX, and thinking about how games are made, I could be wrong ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
