drew was standing outside the house she escaped at the speed of light a year ago. when she was told by the girl she hooked up with at some party that she was pregnant with her baby. at the time she really didn’t want a baby. she was scared - more scared than ever in her life. and she still was, as she was standing outside the girl she knocked up’s door, with a stupid stuffed animal in one of her clenched fists, a year later. she needed to see her child, though. she didn’t even know if it’s a boy or a girl. she knew nothing. something inside of her just couldn’t move on, knowing that there’s a mini her somewhere out there. it took her a while, but eventually, she knocked the door, waiting for that girl from a year ago to open.

drew was over at her best friend’s house with a few other friends. she threw a teasing comment at her best friend, about how hot his little sister was. it was just a playful comment, but deep down she truly thought the girl was gorgeous. between laughs and more teasings, another friend dared her to take the girl’s virginity and dump her publically, for two bottles of whiskey. you could count on her to take the dare. she scoffed, “ no fucking problem. ” the girl’s brother voiced his objection to the dare, but he didn’t do too much to stop it. “ alright i’m going to test the waters and shit. ” she said with a laugh, listening to her friends’ laughs and encouraging comments. she got up from the couch and made her way from the living room to her best friend’s little sister’s room. she knocked on the door, before opening it. “ hi. thought you might want some company, you’ve been alone in here for hours. ”

drew ran a hand through her hair, taking a deep breath. she let a few minutes pass quietly, her mind and heart racing. she needed to take a moment after her girlfriend told her that she got her pregnant. “ well - ” she began, throwing her hands in the air slightly in frustration, unsure of how to deal with the situation. “ you’re having an abortion, right ? ”
