❝I don’t understand what this means,❞ Luci said with furrowed eyebrows and pursed lips. The world was still new to her, as would be expected of anyone who had been raised isolated in a lab. She hated asking about different things — be it a reference someone made or what a certain object did. It made her feel like a kid. She wasn’t a kid dammit!
