Arriving at the base, Strike immediately took it upon himself to secure the hostage in a cell, to prevent the child from escaping right under his nose, which would complicate the situation.
With that done, the masked bomber stepped to the communication room to prepare a special message for the Space Bombers. Having saved their ship’s coords, he could easily send it their way. Unfortunately, this base’s communication service wasn’t the most secure, which meant sending the message would reveal this base’s location. It wasn’t much of a big deal, considering that it would be safe to process the trade there, in his sake.
“Missing a little something? Of course you are. You may refer to me as Strike, and I have taken something unique from your spaceship. This is not what we want, and I wish to trade it for another thing you possess. A piece of your spaceship’s warp engine would suffice.
My conditions are as follow: We will meet up at the base this message was sent from. You are to bring the required object. No more than one of you.
Oh! And most importantly... Don’t try to pick a fight.
If any of those rules are broken, I cannot guarantee the safety of my hostage.”
