“It’s nice to not be the slave behind that bar tonight. It looks pretty rough.” Cody thought about offering to help his fellow co worker out but he had just worked 6 nights in a row. No one offered to help him. Cody shrugged and downed the rest of his drink. “I think I need another drink.”

“Okay I didn’t know think they’d get violent…I thought the worst they’d do is keep bothering you.” Cody let out a sigh, holding the ice pack to his eye. A hiss came from him, feeling the burn against his cut.

As the boys were doing shots, Cody looked across the room and spotted a striking brunette sitting across the bar. Holding the neck of his beer bottle, the boy patiently observed the action going on amongst her and her peers. He found them entertaining to watch but quickly turned his attention away when one of the guys spilled their drink on them.
