“I am looking forward to the next time I have the afternoon free so I can walk around and smell all of the new flowers. Ah, I love spring time,” Yumiko gushed to the other. She wiggled a little bit, “I would say we should go out now, but it’s not as fun smelling and looking at flowers when it’s evening time. But, we could go walk around and grab some snacks. Wanna do that?” Yumiko asked her friend.

Yumiko pulled a pen out from her pencil case and clicked it. She pressed her lips together as her eyes focused on all the math calculations in her notes. A quiet sigh passed her lips after scribbling down some notes in the margins. “I love what I am studying for my degree, but times like this is overwhelming. Lots of calculations and terminology,” Yumiko told Karen. She tied her hair up into a loose bun, “How are your classes going?”

“Sometimes, all you need to do is completely make an ass of yourself and laugh it off to realize that life isn’t so bad after all,” Yumiko told the other with a small smile on her lips then tipped her head to the side. “I know it’s hard and embarrassing sometimes, but hey no one is expecting perfection. Remember to laugh and enjoy the little things, too.”

Yumiko sheepishly smiled at Nathan as she held Nathan’s birthday gift in her hands. “Happy birthday, Nathan. I’m not the best with birthday gifts, but I wanted to get you something that I thought was beneficial and I remember that you like making things.” The young werewolf handed him the wrapped gift, “Happy birthday.”

Yumiko rested her head on Emi’s shoulder as the two were sitting on a bench near the Han River. “Does cloudy weather kinda make you feel sad? I like clouds but when they are all grey or if the sky is overcast I kinda feel a bit sad. I hope during winter the sun will shine a lot.”

“You know what sounds really nice right now? Either a walk along the Han River or sitting on a cliff’s edge over looking the water,” Yumiko mused as she finished braiding her hair. She warmly smiled over at the other, “What do you think?”

“I’m not really good with giving people gifts. Usually I’ll give them a gift card, but this is different. This will be our six month’s anniversary in like a week.  I don’t want to buy Jaehyun something cheesy but nothing too expensive. I want to wait for a first year,” Yumiko twisted the ends of her hair. “What about getting him a necklace? Or hmm a candle? Oh fuck, Emi, I suck at this.” Yumiko pouted at the other.

Yumiko plopped next to her friend with a bowl of popcorn, “Did you pick a movie for us to watch tonight?” She tossed a couple of pieces into her mouth before turning to face the other, “it’s been so long since we’ve done a girls night together! So glad we could do this together.”
