“I...I can’t go out tonight. I have three music pieces that I have to memorize by the end of the week and I can’t even play them perfectly yet with my eyes still on the music! There’s no way I’m going out tonight.”

Nora opened her eyes as she pulled her bow against the strings of her cello hearing the last note of the piece she had memorized reverberate through her ears. She licked her lips letting her bow sit against her shoulder as she looked at the other listening. “Was it good enough? Did I miss anything?”

"It's Nora, actually, not - whatever you just said." The brunette shifted awkwardly in her seat on the wall as she glanced up at the individual who stood in front of her, shooting them an equally as awkward smile which dissolved into laughter after a few moments. "But hey, at least you didn't call me Jerry. It's a start." She was thankful she didn't have to speak up, she could say that much; since, although the noises of the town carnival echoed in the distance behind them on its opening night, she'd managed to find a secluded enough quiet spot away.
