open to: males only context: your muse has a really busy job and always leaves her hanging
“y-you have to cancel our dinner again?” she asked, sighing softly. it was the third time this month he cancelled their plans, she knew he was busy, but so was she and still could find time for them. “i mean... nevermind, i’m sure we can find another day to have it.” she was obviously tired of being second plan, but what could she say? it was his job.

Pia: When are you coming home?
Pia: I miss your face.
How had she not made a sound? It was rare for Pia’s nightmares to be silent. Usually she woke up screaming. Instead she’d woken up, clawing at her own face. Her face felt like it was on fire from the wounds she’d inflected on herself without meaning to. Glancing at the bed, seeing the empty spot beside her, she slowly made her way out of the room and down the hallway. “B-babe?” She wondered, heart pounding in her chest. Why was she so scared? Especially in her own home? She couldn’t even remember the nightmare.
“He thinks I’m broken.” Pia mumbled softly. After being told so many times, she was starting to believe her boyfriend. “Do you think I’m broken?” The kidnapping had left her damaged, that she knew. But she had gotten help, she was getting better. However, maybe he was right. Maybe no one else would ever want her.

Pia: Got brave enough to show you this
Pia: Probably not as much as you’d like but I did it.
Pia sat up in their bed, poking the man in the shoulder as she called out his name softly. “Wake up love.” She encouraged him. “I promise this isn’t another late night food run.” She rubbed the small bump of her middle that held their growing child. Again she called his name, leaning over to kiss the back of his neck, “I need you.” She murmured against their ear, one hand sliding down his back. “I’ll make it up to you.” She couldn’t help but squirm a bit in anticipation.
