The diet which helped me overcome CFS
Being so depressed and tired with CFS I was willing to give ANYTHING a go to help me overcome it, I hate fish, but if it meant eating fish morning, noon and night, I was on it.
Funny I say that but the first thing I did was change my diet. In my previous blog I was telling you how I was putting more weight on by the day, and being a teenager this was a big thing for me.
My brother had been doing some research online and a long with his superior knowledge of human biology came up with a small plan which was basically cut out the crap. Eat normally but cut out pastry, stodgy carbs, white carbs ie bread pasta and eat more protein - at the time I knew very little about how food can affect your mood and your health to such an extent.
I gave it a go, and I felt better in a matter of days, I was eating more meat and veg than I ever had dome before.
Not only did it help me find some energy and inner strength but I felt lighter as well - this was great!
