(Lot of text ahead ><) Okay, this is too good to wait for the cover to be removed. If there is one thing I could _never_ live without, it's Star Trek. This world Roddenberry created is for me the one humanity should aim for. No poverty, no hunger, peace not only on earth but in a greater part of the galaxy, availability to the galaxy at all, searching for and trying to understand the unknown instead of fearing it, embracing the philosophy of existence, learning from past mistakes, equality on all layers a society offers .... the list is endless. (And even just as a fictional world - this is centurys of made up history not only on earth but on endless planets, of cultures, complete languages, races, their interaction .... again: And so on.) And of course, as it is for all Trekkies I know, it's a family thing. My father brought Star Trek into my life and my brother and I are still as hooked as we were on the first day.
