In the non-existent world where Startropics got a 90s cartoon, I could see chars from other franchises showing up for a one-off crossover episode in-between Zoda/C-Island shenanigans.
Like Alice and Ape III from Arm Wrestling/Punch-Out, for instance.

I hope you feel the movement I hid in this piece. I had a lot of fun with this one.
At first glance, this game looks incredibly mediocre. When you first play it, the controls feel tight and awkward. There is a lot about this game that may make you roll your eyes. Give it a chance to grow on you— If you love weird and challenging pixel games from the past, Startropics is FAR BEYOND a must play!
Thank goodness the game had a battery to save your progress -which helped a little- but, keep in mind that I originally played this as a kid thru in an era without rewind or save states!
This game is so unique and beautiful. And stressful 😉 Play it!!
