❗️ANOTHER LONG POST❗️ _______________ So I totally blanked out on the month! July has been slowly dragging by for me. 😐 Anyways! This is the remaining #stashcash from this months rent 😊 We will have more to add once all our utility bills come in. _______________ To explain stash cash, it's just money we have left from paying our rent and utilities here in Korea. We have to pay our rent and utilities with cash to our realtor so that means pulling out cash in USD and taking it to a money exchange place to change it into KRW. _______________ It's a bit of a hassle especially when you're accustomed to paying everything online, but the silver lining is we are able to save. _______________ Our rent budget is $1600 so that's the amount of cash I withdrawal each month. The cost of rent for the apartment we have is 1,700,000 won. Because of exchange rates, the cost in USD changes! Last month it was $1530, and this month it was $1490. The same goes with our utilities. _______________ The plus to all this is that we don't have much use for USD here. With the exception of 7-eleven and places on post, everywhere else takes Korean won. Since we don't shop on post much, anything extra is what we plan to stash!
