Meet Static from Milestone Comics!
Wyynde: So you, Dolphin, Garth, and Tula are a package deal?
La'gaan: And Virgil. Careful, he is a shocker, too.
Virgil: I shocked everyone under this roof at least once. La'gaan, twice. Once accidentally, the other time not so much.
La'gaan: Didn't hurt that much.
Virgil: But you cried.
La'gaan: Liar!
Virgil: Sure, buddy.
Wyynde: I think this family.
Sha'lain'a: We're doing what exactly?
Virgil: Nothing special. 😄 It will be really fast.
* Minutes later*
Virgil: *holding camera*
Sha'lain'a: Bring the beat in!
Dolphin: *carries in actual beet on plate * Anything for you, Beyoncé!
Mentor
If YJ wants some points back, you know what would be great?
Kaldur becoming Virgil's mentor. Listen, listen.
Since Jeff 'retired' from being his mentor, why can't Kaldur do it? He can teach Virgil some tips using electricity, despite his powers more magical and Virgil's being more... genetic. There's also Kaldur teaching how to make water his ally instead of an obstacle. Teaching him how to make water a conductor while also giving him some tips on bobbing and weaving it.
There's also potential on them having a great brotherly relationship. Yes, Virgil has a loving family that he cares about (at least DC can give that), but it would awesome of he looks up to Kaldur like a brother he didn't have and Kaldur is "anyone who hurts him will have to answer to me".
I would love to see that. Something fun and soft. Something non-toxic.
La'gaan: *tells a joke*
Kaldur: *laughs*
Everyone else: ... 😶😶😶
Kaldur: *confused at the silence* What?
Virgil: What was that?
Kaldur: What?
La'gaan: That sound you just made.
Kaldur: You mean my laugh?
Virgil: That wasn't laughing!
Kaldur: Then what was it?
La'gaan: A siren's song or something. That sound was too... too...
Dolphin: *holds up a sign* BEAUTIFUL?!
La'gaan: Yes!
Virgil: It was angelic.
Kaldur: That's just how I laugh.
Virgil: Are you sure?
Kaldur: Am I su--- Yes! That's how I laugh!
La'gaan: *shakes his head* No. I can't believe that. Laughs should sound silly. Sometimes horrifying ugly. That wasn't a laugh, Kaldur.
Kaldur: ... I'm not going to get into a debate about this.
Dolphin: *in tears*
Kaldur: Why are you crying?
Dolphin: *holds up another sign* Because you're too precious. 😭😭😭
Kaldur: ... I'm going to walk away now.
Virgil: Wait! Make that sound so I can record this time!
Virgil: Kaldur! Kaldur!
Kaldur: What?
La'gaan: You got to do it.
Kaldur: Do what?
Dolphin: *points to her mouth and smiles*
Virgil: That!
Kaldur: You sure?
La'gaan: Yes!
Kaldur: Positive?
Dolphin: *nods*
Kaldur: Okay. *smiles*
5 MINUTES LATER!
Dolphin: *sobbing quietly over the sofa*
La'gaan: *hugging Kaldur while also sobbing*
Virgil: *laying on the floor, mumbling*
Kaldur: Are you alright?
La'gaan: ... so... beautiful...
Virgil: The world doesn't deserve you.
Dolphin: *nods, still sobbing*
Kaldur: You do this every time I smile. This is why I don't smile much because I'm worried about your well-being.
Virgil: Don't be. It's worth it.
DUCK, DUCK, GOOSE!! 🦆🦆🦆
Kaldur: So what you're telling me is that the sole detail for the game 'Duck, Duck, Goose' is that if you're the goose you have to chase down the person who chose you because in real life those birds would chase you down if you bother them without mercy?
Virgil: Yes.
Dolphin: ...
La'gaan: ...
Kaldur: So a duck wouldn't do the same thing? They wouldn't chase you?
Virgil: ... you got me there. A duck would attack you if aggravated.
Kaldur: So shouldn't everyone playing the game chase you because in real life any animal would attack you if bothered enough?
Virgil: You're taking away the purpose of the game!
Kaldur: What purpose?! To prove ducks wouldn't chase you?! Because I believe that is entirely false!
Rose Gold
One prank La'gaan and Virgil pulled on Kaldur and Dolphin was put hair dye in their shampoo. The color was rose gold. Of course, they were mad about it, but because they looked so good they let it go. Kaldur and Dolphin stayed with rose gold hair for a whole month.
