As an addendum to the current stationery discourse, I feel I should note that one Moleskine product I absolutely love are the paper cover notebooks. I buy three-packs of them, unlined, and I use them for outlining writing projects. This is a messy process for me that involves drawing maps, sketching timelines, and scribbling lists, and I cannot bring myself to do this in a "nice" notebook. I usually do this stage in pencil, so whatever complaints people have about the paper vis a vis nice pens are not relevant. Plus I can write on the cover.
