"In fact, in a recent analysis of cases in New York City of murder trials, the median New York City murder trial takes from indictment to the start of trial 23 months. Mr. Mangione's trial will occur at the 20 month mark. This means generally he is proceeding three months faster as compared to other murder cases in this jurisdiction and those are cases where they're only fighting one case and they do not have the complexities of this case."
