Alastor Plush update.

So these are my project reference drawings, I sometimes make them to figure out sizes and details.

And here are his shoes ( I always start with the feet and end with the head) They look abit like boots but I love ‘em.

Then we have the legs. I’m making 4 pieces, then I’ll sew them to the torso. The shoes will be sewn into the legs. This is the first time I’ve knitted a plush so it took me a few days to really get started.

Alastor plush update 2.

The legs are now done, here’s how they look without stuffing.

Now with stuffing and the bottom torso part. It’s a bit more bulky then I wanted but I like it so far.

And of course I had to add the tail! I’m so on board with this headcanon <3

Annddd... now I’m working on his shirt. I need to buy more yarn for the coat so I’ll be finishing this some time in february instead of this month but it’s my fault for starting late.

Alastor plush update 3.

Okay so hear me out. I got a ball of Quest ladybug yarn to make Alastor’s coat but it looks NOTHING like the photo and it’s basically the same color as the pants SO I had to buy a new ball of yarn which I just got in the mail on the 28th.

It’s alot better and seems to work with the other colors. Another reason why this plush is taking a while is because of the hands:

I only have one of them done. Made with felt this took some time to create plus the finger tips are glued together which takes more time.

But the results are stunning (all of the red is richer than pictured) Again, I’m hoping to have him done by the end of the month but we’ll see. 

I’ve been doing a lot of stuff at the same time lately. I’m working on a sweater for myself and I just re-opened my shop on etsy (https://www.etsy.com/shop/LnRworks) I’ve been working to get items done for that as well. I wanted to make art for charlastor week but I’ll just have to post them in another post some time later, everything is a WiP lol
