In news not related to anything new: remember my stays (the ones from the tutorial I finished after a year)? Well, this is how they look like finished. Forgive the lack of chamise, since I didn’t find it and I had to try on the bodice of the gown I’m making XD
Also: I cannot believe I sew that entirely by hand. It looks better than I remembered!
Also: my iPhone cover is the best thing ever. And forgive my background mess. My life is a mess and my room also is.
Oh please don't you dare to think that I will not finish the stays tutorial! It's just that I lend ALL my stays, chemises, and 2 of my 3 18th century dresses to one of my friends (I mean, she wears them at the ancient dances class. Taking that class only makes her a better friend of mine XD). The next step in the tutorial is the proper fitting of the mockup BUT since I didn't do it the way it should for a first pair of stays I don't have photos :( and of course I want all of you to have perfect-fitted-stays even if this is your first pair ever.
So please hang on! ;) I think I'll make it on the weekend with the help of my friend and I leave for you a poor photo of the stays when I was about to finish them :)
