CLOSED STARTER. @staystrangcrs
“What? No.” Rochelle didn’t appreciate being called out on the fact that she was kind of, maybe purposely hovering around their side of the office building in the hopes of running into them. Any work she could do on her iPad was done while walking up and down the halls, her breaks mostly filled with conversations with them. It was easy to pass it off as her competitive nature, as soon as they’d put forth a challenge to the whole building that whoever got the most steps by end of week would get a prize she knew she would be winning. She just figured she could kill two birds with one stone and get time with them too. They were older than her, at first she’d thought of them as a mentor but now it was more of a crush, one she wasn’t sure they reciprocated. “I just stick around here because the aircon is better, and the kitchen has better snacks to steal... and sure, it’s nicer talking to you than the hacks that are in marketing with me, but that’s not the reason I like this part of the office.” She scoffed.
