Surprise || Cartbastian

Carter had been on edge almost the entire day, trying to keep Sebastian from thinking anything was going on. The day had been filled with tying up loose ends (including dropping off the check for Sebastian’s broken bed), and making sure that everything was set for their move the next day, but it had all culminated with dinner (the gift certificate he had won coming in handy, since he wouldn’t have been able to afford UpperCut otherwise). He had used almost every trick in the book to get Sebastian in to the right outfit for both dinner and a night partying, and now that dinner was over, he had used his last trick (pouty eyes and a tiny amount of sentimentality over it being their last night in the place where they met) to get the Dom to his own surprise party. 

Now, an hour in to their arrival, Carter was trying to make his way back to where he had last left Sebastian. Leaning against the bar, he craned his neck, frowning as he couldn’t find his boyfriend in the crowd.

Look After You || Cartbastian

Carter had probably never been more ready to leave a party in his life. While he had by no means expected to be the last one at the holiday ball, he and Sebastian were leaving quite a bit later than he had expected. Whether it was because Sebastian was truly enjoying himself, or because of the Dom’s nerves about what they had planned to happen after, Carter couldn’t be sure. All he knew was that they had finally left the hall, and the music from the party was fading in to the background with every step they took, leaving a vaguely awkward silence in it’s wake.

Taking a breath, Carter reached out and took Sebastian’s hand, lacing their fingers together gently. “Thanks for being my unofficial date,” he said, his voice echoing softly in the empty hallway. “We were obviously the best looking duo there,” he added. Sebastian had expressed many reservations about the suit he had chosen to wear, but Carter loved it. There was something exciting in knowing he had stood out from the crowd, and yet still complimented Sebastian’s own look perfectly. 

“Though, that was mostly thanks to you,” he added. Glancing around to make sure they were still alone in the hallway, the sub pressed a kiss to Sebastian’s cheek, smiling as he pulled away.. “I don’t know if I told you, but you look phenomenal, Seb.”

Who's your favorite dominant in the academy?

Weeell...I’m fond of Sebastian. He’s a great Dom - I feel respected in and out of submission, and that’s a great thing. He’s also hilarious.

And because fuck the rules, I’m gonna add a second. I pretty much adore Madison. She’s super nice - even when it’s super hard to be nice, and I love talking about all the shit with her. I admire her a lot.

[Anna walked to the Humanities classroom and knelt next to the door. She knew just what was getting to her - the combination of Mason and the popular opinion that submissives shouldn’t be in big governmental office had her on edge. She knew some submission time would put her mind at ease - and she trusted Sebastian, for some reason, despite knowing him for all of one week. But he was comforting - he seemed to support people of all beliefs, and that was something she really admired about him. She had a feeling that he was a wonderful Dominant.]
