You can really see where the artists’ were forced against their wills to paste that Sonic 3D render of Sonic’s head into their art as much as possible. It looks painful

Space Graphics Zone! I unironically love that drawing of Tekno on the second page
Speaking of Tekno, we join Amy & Tekno on the first stop of their journey across time and space, as the Ring of Eternity’s special chosen warriors to save everyone
It doesn’t seem like they’re given direct instructions about what to do at each location, but they can probably figure this one out
I’m not sure who’s worse here between one tribe calling themselves the Meek Tribe and the other tribe calling themselves the Thickskull Tribe
Get your hands off Amy’s girlfriend!
This opportunist trying to con Amy out of her crossbow for ten pebbles
We’re just going to get a very super-condensed kids’ comic version of why introducing powerful weapons into a new society isn’t a great idea and that’s fine. As I’ve said before, there’s no need for the comics to be weighed down by big debates that’ll go over the kids’ heads anyway
wot u laffin’ at, m8?
Amy & Tekno saved the day by introducing therapy into their society! I love it!
The Ring of Eternity knew these two would be the right ones for the job. And I’m sure about a million people have already made a Professor Pickle joke at that last line, so just pretend that I added one here as well
We then catch up with Knuckles, who’s dealing with a problem of his own back on Mobius. Thankfully, he’s able to grab onto the side of the island, even without his sight, and wait there until it returns to him
Though his climb back up isn’t exactly easy
Luckily, the Floating Island has all these tunnels littered everywhere. Dr. Zachary is even lurking in them somewhere, not that we ever see him again
Oh my gosh, that last panel is so tragic! Just hang in there, buddy! Emotionally as well as literally…
Here’s a reminder of the villains. I like the lizard lady best, because of course I do
I think “These flipping Chaos Emeralds” is possibly the most disrespect that anyone’s shown the Chaos Emeralds in the Sonic series. Anyway, I always feel bad for Porker when he’s floundering to deal with a situation that’s over his head, because he reminds me so much of myself
Knuckles isn’t even in this cliffhanger, but I’ve said a million times that I think the Guardian Robots are cool, so that’s fine with me
Megadroid straight up threatening to send Sonic & Knuckles around to this kid’s house to beat them up lol
Also damn, confirmed that the Chaotix are using Charmy’s family wealth to fund everything! Do they know he’s a prince now or do they just assume some rich family are paying three queer men to look after their kid for them?
I maintain that this could still be compatible with the modern Chaotix, because we can assume that when Sonic Heroes rolls around, Charmy’s family might’ve cut him off for whatever reason because Omni-Viewer sued them over the Omni-Doors and that’s why they’ve got no cash anymore
I was initially going to post this to be like “Hey look, it’s the Spice Girls”, but then I was blindsided by seeing that Walkers were only charging 15p for a pack of Cheetos back then. Nowadays, in some shops, Walkers crisps cost £1.15…
