What if the beings/creatures from TMBTE are past Vessels that were not able to ascend? They are now hollow puppets transformed by Sleep to do its bidding. This Vessel is the only one able to ascend and is now a god in his own right. Now, he's in Eden, Sleep's domain. In order to stop Sleep permanently, he has to defeat the past Vessels. Then he can destroy Sleep.
.
In Greek Mythology, sirens have wings. Vessel has feathers now. Maybe that's not just for The Feathered Host. Maybe that's him playing along with the joke that he's secretly a siren?
.
Theory: Vessel is actually Merlin, and he forgot where he buried Arthur. He was supposed to wake him up 5-600 years ago. He needs the Holy Grail to figure out where he left Arthur, so he's using his fans to find it for him.

car crash metaphor anon here I present thee wall of text I'm so sorry I just.. did that. anyway:
(tldr: Has anyone noticed any car crash metaphors in the EiA album? It seems to be a recurring theme across all three albums (examples: Dark Signs and Levitate from Sundowning, Atlantic from TPWBYT, Granite and Euclid in TMBTE).)
I meant EIA as an album. ST lyrically has recurring themes/words/concepts across different albums, such as (but not limited to):
feathers (weight),
gods,
teeth and jaws,
blood,
swords/blades,
night and day,
sleep of course,
water/drowning/sea/raging torrents n stuff
(other people say miscarriage is a recurring theme too!)
and car crashes. Or at least cars/roads
Anyways sleepies (and myself) have noticed car-mishap related metaphors in different songs across albums:
From Sundowning we have Dark Signs. I can't remember the lyrics well but there's stuff like "where i was raised there was no street lights, pitch black, passing headlights" which isn't a direct reference to a car crash, but the conditions sure will cause it. Levitate sort of references 'crushing bones' and kinda makes it sound like the narrator of the song lives through something that injured him badly BUT it killed someone else and he is singing to this someone who died in the accident that he survived. I might be trying hard, but perhaps that's a car crash thing too and some survivor guilt which was sort of part of Atlantic?
now about Atlantic...
From TPWBYT we have Atlantic which is commonly interpreted as a failed s*icide attempt, but there is an angle to which it can be interpreted as a survivor in a freak accident that left everyone dead except the singer and the singer is guilty for surviving. Again, it seems like... a car crash incident especially with the 'blue light over murder' part of the lyrics. I read somewhere that blue light is the color of ambulances in UK.
And then in TMBTE, Granite is a little more descriptive with the lyrics so it's sort of easy to see the car crash angle here with lines like "i was more than just a body in your passenger seat" "i see you go half blind when you're looking at me" "but i am between the second hand smoke and the glass on the street" "So keep an eye on the road, or we will both be here forever" and some parts of the instrumental sounds like skidding tires in the distance (this begins around 2:20). Then there's Euclid talking about fate being a bad collision and their mind being an open highway and sunset sky lanes...
So I'm wondering if anyone has caught any car-references in EIA, because somehow the first three albums have em. Why I'm wondering? i actually dont knoww

In mythology, gods often have sacred animals. So, if Vessel has ascended, maybe his sacred animal is the black flamingo.

I have a theory that the Alkaline video and The Love You Want video takes place at the same time. Basically, while Vessel is in his mind fighting the dancing people, Sleep is controlling his body and is unaliving the hazmat guys.
.
I saw a post where the theory is the hazmat guys from the Alkaline video are turned into the rest of ST.
Vessel waking up after Sleep borrowed his body for a bit.
Sleep: "Hey, Vessel, I made you some friends."
Vessel: "What do you mean you made me some friends?"
Sleep: "Look in the living room."
Vessel sees four random guys in his living room who may or may not be reanimated corpses.
Vessel: "SLEEP! WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!?"
Sleep: "I called the one with the drums Vessel II, the one with the not guitar but looks kinda of like a guitar."
Vessel: "You mean bass?"
Sleep: "That's what it's called? I thought a bass was some kind of fish you humans like to eat. Anyway, I called that one Vessel III, the one with a guitar I call Vessel IV, and the one with the camera I call Adam Rossi. He's really good at taking pictures."
Vessel: "Sleep, why did you" Vessel making air quotes "make me friends? Where the fuck did you find them? Were they dead when you found them!? PLEASE tell me you didn't killed them. And why are you calling them Vessel II, III, and IV except for" pointing at Adam Rossi "him?"
Sleep: "Well, Vessel I, if you must know.."
Vessel I: "You're calling me Vessel I now!?"
Sleep: "Yes, anyway. I was minding my own business borrowing your body when these four wearing weird-looking yellow suits," Sleep directing Vessel I to look at a pile of clothes in the corner of the room..
Vessel I: "Are those hazmat suits!?"
Sleep: "I'm not sure what hazmat means; it's not important. What is important is Vessel III tried to shoot you when I was using your body! I mean, could he be any ruder!? So I killed him, and the other three didn't like that so they tried and also failed to kill you."
Vessel I: "WHAT THE FUCK!?"
Sleep: "I know right! Well I decided that it was a waste of perfectly good humans. So I reanimated them, named them, and gave them jobs!"
Vessel, looking at the four basically zombies in his living room still in disbelief, and with no clear answer on Sleep's naming choices.
Sleep: "Well, I'm going to go now. See you tonight and have fun with your new friends!"
