Last night we saw the @BoDeans at the @arcadatheatre in #stcharlesillinois. It was a great show as always! So much fun. And to my surprise, I got us #fourthrow seats! #susieklinedesigns

CHICAGO BEARS AT THE ARCADA THEATER

October 12. 2014. St. Charles Illinois. 

   If you've never experienced a Bears Game at the Chicago Theater, its awesome and you should try it. They don't show all Bears Games but if you go to the Arcada Theater's web site (oshows.com), you can see which games will be viewed. I actually just walked in there as I was walking around Scarecrow Fest. A band cancelled earlier in the day so the theater decided to put on the game.

   There was only about 20 people there because it wasn't a scheduled showing, but I guess there could be up to 100 people for bears games and 200 for Bears vs. Packers game. There's a small bar in there where you can buy some beers. They got a good selection of craft & domestic beers, sangria, & what's a theater without good popcorn!?

 "The Arcada Theater was built in 1926 by local millionaire and Chicago Tribune cartoonist Lester J. Norris. The new theater was a $500,000 example of the Norris family’s confidence in the future of St. Charles . With only 5,000 residents in town, 1,009 seats were installed. A popular stop on the Vaudeville circuit, the Arcada was described in the St. Charles Chronicle in this quote: “There may be larger theatres in Chicago , but for beauty of auditorium and artistic stage setting, there are none superior to the Arcada of St. Charles.”-------http://www.oshows.com/#!arcada-theatre-info/cqo9
