aeron found it hilarious that he and cassian emerged injured on the same day at the tourney. their injuries were serious, of course, but the odds of them being incapacitated together? he did not expect at all. lord dayne found it no use to sulk and dwell on his loses, finding himself lucky that he was still alive. that tourney’s victory was not his to claim in the first place. “i say the prince is in luck we are not well enough to wreak havoc on his wedding,” aeron turned to cassian with a mischievous smirk, raising his goblet at him. “the gods had to injure us as to not steal the prince’s show. it would not be fair, they said.” he added with a chuckle, leaning back on his chair. “i was told the horse knocked you off good. how are you faring?”

          there’s  a  goblet  full  of  wine  in  one  hand  and  his  other  is  preoccupied  scratching  where  the  stag  crown  sits  on  his  head  .  he’s  thankful  he’s  not  someone  who  has  to  wear  one  all  the  time  or  he  would  surely  hate  that  .  brown  curls  peak  out  from  behind  the  wooden  antlers  as  olyvar  adjusts  the  piece  once  more  .  glancing  around  the  room  at  the  other  guests  and  how  ...  exquisite  some  outfits  were  ,  he  was  even  more  grateful  that  his  theme  was  as  tame  as  it  was  .  besides  ,  he  did  look  good  .   ❝   when  the  king  announced  we’d  be  attending  a  masquerade  ball  ,  i  will  admit  i  did  not  expect  ...  this  .   ❞   oly  can’t  help  but  chuckle  ,  thinking  that  at  least  as  uncomfortable  as  he  is  ,  there’s  plenty  to  make  him  laugh  .   ❝   you  look  the  part  ,  what’s  your  theme  ?   ❞
